Super outdated rooms and equipment. For the 1500SEK off-season, it is overprises.nIt was clean, no doubt, but somehow, when you enter the room, it has the smell of old. The beds were a bit too soft. There is no mini bar or kettle for complimentary tea and coffee that you would expect for the price that you pay.nWe did not get room with the sea view, we were told that there were not so much available, not even offer of we want from the few left.nThe breakfast was average, very typical buffet, but in the restaurant you can notice that was not renovated since it was made it, the wall yo wall carpet, the ciling, the walls even the picture frames and the plastic flowers.nThe location is nice and there is a pool, but we haven't tried since we arrived late, but we're never even told if there is a chance to use it.nIt is an average hotel that you pay a lot.
We had a very good experience with Strand hotel .All the interactions that we did with the hotel management was perfect starting from booking till the time we checked out .nWe were a group of 6 people and we were all alone during the Christmas long weekend .but Jonas and Sebastian solved all our queries and issues that we faced . We would really love to come back to this place and enjoy the summers of Öland.nThe apartment was huge and had all the facilities that one can imagine of . We never faced any issues and thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The patio and balcony was huge and had a wonderful view .
Looks and feels like you come to a 2 star hotel in the Mediterranean. Rooms were clean but worn and unpersonal. Pool area was far from ok in so many ways and the beach had more to wish for.
Moldy toilet, dirt everywhere. Really bad isolation in the room and horrible experience overall. We were kind of hopeful when me and my wife got here but soon after we arrived we realised we'd rather sleep in the car... Oh and also! No lights in the room, almost no curtains and the tv is locked in hotel mode which I've never experienced before. Stay away!
Even i was there in the lower season really surprise me that its was no one in the evening in the reception, in the morning check out just after 8. The room was not so bad but the bathroom was strange and the shower was moving.
