Great hotel, centrally located. Few steps from central station and center. Lovely and comfortable rooms with good breakfast.
Not a Hotel as advertised. Only a hostel. Situated by river but cant be seen from inside.nOwners do not reply to messages for months.nNo reply to my experience No Reception. No welcome. No heating on in my rooms and had to leave a hair dryer on for hours.nAll room doors open onto kitchen / communal area and until 23.00hrs there is no rule about being quiet where all guests congregate!nLight above bed handing from a damaged live flex which is touched would be fatal. No plug point by bed for charger. Hidden behind cupboard
The hotel or hostel was nicely located near the canal that runs through Gävle. The rooms were quite OK and with private bathrooms. The breakfast was spartan but nice, there was what you wanted. You get a code to enter the hotel and to the room key. The hotel is unmanned in the evening. But can recommend this hotel for a visit, nice surroundings and friendly staff.
Disclaimer: This is a smaller hotel with a few rooms, don't go here expecting the huge hotel experience with big lobby and breakfast.nnPerfect location, about 2 min from the train station. Lovely staff. Loved the communal space and self serve breakfast. Clean and nice rooms. I love that you get your own bathroom and shower even at this price. Have stayed at other hotels for way higher price and have had to share toilets.nnLove that you can show up anytime since you get your key from a little box with a codelock. Have stayed in both the normal single bed room and in the apartment room above the rest of the hotel.nnBut above all else, getting this service and everything for this price is amazing. Have never had better value for money when it comes to hotels
Nice place to sleep. Good located near centrum. 1 star deduction because I heard the hotel front door slam loudly. I was lying in room nr. 1
