Saxå Bruk

@Klipphus3 would like to recommend @saxabruk and @carls_glasscafe_saxa at Saxå, Sweden. The food is great, the service as well and the atmosphere is astonishing. Please follow and pay them a visit.

Saxå bruk is beautifully situated by a small lake. The old mill buildings are preserved and very interesting to explore in more detail.nnThe accommodation, in the wings of the mill, is fantastic! We stayed in a tastefully decorated two-room apartment with antique furniture and a beautiful view of the lake. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was quiet and cool.nnThe mill is next to a golf course, but this does not particularly disturb non-golfers.nnThe food in the restaurant was delicious. The service felt a bit inexperienced and not particularly attentive, but the service was pleasant. The restaurant environment was interesting, in a decorated old mill building. It is a shame that they have chosen to keep the kitchen open, it gives a cafeteria feel in an otherwise special restaurant environment. However, it does not detract from the overall experience, which was undividedly positive.

We were there in the summer of 2023. Good food and nice room. We got a two hour history lesson from Carl-Jan Grankvist. It was an experience beyond the ordinary.

Wonderful location, lovely place. Absolutely wonderful dinner, friendly service and great staff. Was lucky enough to meet Carl-Jan, the icing on the cake at Saxå. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful cultural heritage but for some reason the restaurant was not open. There were several people there who thought it was strange. But better luck next time because the place is well worth a visit.
