Excellent central location just a few mins from the train station / buss terminal, just in the middle of the city.nnGood rooms we had a family room, extra kids beds needed abit extra cleaning but was done quickly.nGreat breakfast.nParking you pay for approx 225 kr/night.nStaff were friendly and professional.

We regularly stay at Scandic when in Sweden. They are fairly simple to review. They range from average to great . This was one of the great ones.

Nice, comfortable hotel at the main shopping street. Good breakfast with a lot to choose from. Only missed some other coffee than brewed.

We recently took a weekend trip to Karlstad to watch ice hockey matches held in Hammarö. Our hotel was conveniently located with easy access to public transport. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it a great place to stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

Staff were very friendly and breakfast buffet was very nice. Room was however super dated and lack of maintenance. Ventilation also almost never worked. A bit too pricey for this level of interior design
