Scandic Karlstad City

Staff were very friendly and breakfast buffet was very nice. Room was however super dated and lack of maintenance. Ventilation also almost never worked. A bit too pricey for this level of interior design

We recently took a weekend trip to Karlstad to watch ice hockey matches held in Hammarö. Our hotel was conveniently located with easy access to public transport. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it a great place to stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

Very old and not renovated rooms,dirty and old floor carpets.a/c is not working,the days we stayed was very hot and rooms were really hot and airless.breakfast is not well enough.only the good thing is its location.

They have a relax area, but your key card may not work to use it! They just keep giving you new cards that also don't work, then when it gets close to closing time, they say the timing is the reason. I stayed 2 nights and only got to use the relax area when a staff member was kind enough to manually open the door with a key. Very disappointing!

I like the hotel . Rooms were clean , good service and good location closer to bus stops, restaurants and bars.
