Scandic Winn

A lovely hotel with exceptionally kind staff. Special thanks to everyone at reception—they were all incredibly helpful, especially the senior receptionist who assisted us in the morning when a taxi driver tried to charge four times the normal fare.

The room is ok, but there is no kettle or fridge, so you can not have coffee or store the food if you have.nnWhen the hotel is busy or relatively busy, there are a lot of guests in-house, and it is so much congestion when breakfast time.nIf you want to have a relaxing morning, it would not be there.nnThe breakfast was a bit disappointing compared to other scandic hotels.nFor example, the croissant was not properly served.nnThe hotel is located in the city, and you hear noise from the streets until late in the night.

Great breakfast, perfect location within the city, really nice people in all service areas. Will definitely go there again!

Good location, very good breakfast, clean rooms, welcome drink for kids. Recommended.

Location was interesting inside Karlstad. Upgraded parking inside garage which was great. The staff was wonderful, kind & very service-minded. Breakfast was fantastic. So good... We could even sit in the bar with our little dog. The rooms need update but bed was super nice. Curtains was blacked out light kind & worked perfect. This crew was excellent..
