Clarion Collection Hotel Plaza

Had an Junior Suite and it was a big room. The bed really comfortable and big even if I only used 1 side.nThe problem with the room for me was that the TV was not possible to turn so you can't see it from bed. And the TV is small and not possible to cast Netflix etc.nAnd in the bathroom the shower is looking good but it's not possible to close. And they don't provide floor towel. But used one of the small towels. And the toilet paper is like sandpaper.nI except more when you have a suite.nBut the room have seating for at least 10 persons. So perfect for a small meeting. Or a small gathering before you go out on pubs/clubs. It's a fridge that's big enough to keep drinks cold for some people.nnThe breakfeast is small, but provide you with all the important things your body needs. I did'nt try the dinner that's included in the price.nIt's a nice gym, and a jacuzzi that you can use for free almost all day. And a sauna in the evenings.nnThe staff is very nice and provide good service. And it's never problem if you speak english. I'm from Norway and in this city it's a lot of Norwegians so they understand norwegian.nnLocation is perfect, it's 5min walk from the trainstation. It's in a street with no cars when you go out to the right.nKarlstad it's also a perfect city to explore by cycling, because it's flat.

Amazing hotel! Very clean rooms, very comfortable beds, pillows and quilt. Complementary!! Tasty evening meal and AMAZING breakfast with large variety of hot and cold selection of food. I enjoyed breakfast very much.nnAll in all, nice stay.

Very small rooms, but great location

A pretty good hotel, somewhat close to the city center. Still not too much noise, which of course is a big plus.nnRoom was nice, clean and somewhat spacious, if a bit old fashioned. The bathroom was modern though.nnBreakfast area was also good, with the standard continental offerings. I liked that they had a lot of fruit.nnAs it is a Clarion Collection hotel, dinner was included. I arrived a bit late but the staff was nice enough to get me a plate anyways. Much appreciated.nnOverall the best part of the hotel was the service. Staff was nice, happy and helpful. That bumped the overall score from a 3-star to a 4-star review.

Very good hotel located in the city centre close to all the main spots of the city. Breakfast is great and the buffet dinner was quite basic the night we stayed there, but still okay. Overall it was a very good value for money on our way to Norway.
