Best Western Hotel Arctic Eden

Very nice and helpful hotel staff. Lack of reservation does not complicate accommodation, everything goes quickly and in a great atmosphere. The rooms are clean, well-kept and equipped with TV and Internet access. Internet data transfers are very fast, which is not yet standard in many other hotels. The breakfasts are excellent, everyone will find something to suit their taste.nThe only thing that would need improvement is the cleanliness of the canteen. The way the dining room is heated requires a lot of air circulation, which is visible due to the thick layer of dust on the lamps and the ceiling. A team of 2-3 people could easily clean it up in one night.nA place definitely worth recommending!

The hotel is beautiful. Rooms look great and are very spacious. The spa is really nice. The only cons are that the entire building is a bit drafty. I saw a few reviews down that they said they will replace the windows. I think that’s very needed. The hotel is also not super close to the new center, everything seems to have moved over that way. Also, the WiFi wasn’t super fast either.

Staff were flawless, friendly, fantastic!nnThe room was clean and comfortable.nnThe hotel is in the old city center, which I didn't realize. There is an ICA and several restaurants within walking distance, which make it very convenient.nnHowever, the hotel is seriously lacking. There is zero soundproofing. I could clearly hear people doing things as simple as walking down the hallway. Several times I was awoken by the loud sound of the fire doors between floors slamming. The Wi-Fi repeatedly went in and out, which is not convenient when one is here for work. The TV also seems to only work with WiFi so on my last day, when it went out completely for 4+ hours, I could not use it.nnI won't be staying here again.

Booked the hotel as it has a swimming pool, but it was freezing when we arrived, so our kids didn't want to use it. It was fixed during our stay so we could use the last day.nnThe coffee machine at the hotel was broken, couldnt order coffee.nnWe did really get any house keeping during our stay of 4 days - don't know if you need to ask for it, but it wasn't just one day they missed it but all.nnStaff was generally very young, and not very well trained. Most was friendly enough, but not very professional.nnFood in the hotel restaurant was pretty bad, and had to wait for ages to get 2 terrible pizzas.nnRooms were pretty nice.nnBreakfast was lacking the first two days, but the last two it was significantly better - especially the various bread.

Decently sized rooms with coffee facilities, massive TV, very good breakfast, hot sauna and pool until 10pm, massive gym. Location off the new centre but with 3 excellent eateries nearby plus the hotel's. All in all no reason to stay in a more expensive hotel downtown.
