Spis hotel and hostel

I stayed at this hostel and paid at checkout but they said I didn’t showed up and charged me twice on booking. I sent them the evidence of payment at the hostel and they said they will issue a refund. Now one month has passed I still haven’t received a refund and they stop responding to my email. Worst experience ever

It is the worst hostal I have ever been. The room was minimum no space for even a bag. The elevator didn’t work so I have to pull up 24kg by arm 2 floors up. The servirse was super rude and don’t care to help you. I really disappointed with this hotel

To be honest, it seems that the hostel is not well maintained. It’s dark inside in the reception and the facilities such as toilet, sauna are not clean. We spent one night in STF Kiruna and it really was better.

We were able to use the luggage storage room and checked in early. Friendly staff who are super helpful.nnRoom was decent and large space for two adults. You have to put the provided sheets on the beds and pillows. A fan is provided to help with ventilation. The heating doesn't really work. Didn't like the toilets as they smelled quite bad. However I do know that the staff takes time to clean each morning, with hand soap and toilet paper refilled.nnThere is a washer and dryer in the basement for guest use so it was helpful. However the floor is wet when the washer is on, so take care not to drop your clothes on the floor. Sauna is also in the basement but didn't use it as it looked creepy, and unpleasant with the urinal in front of it.nnBreakfast is great and served from 6-10am. There is a good spread of hot and cold food, and takeaways is available for SEK85.nnThe kitchen is good too and comes fully equipped. Some condiments for basic cooking.nnThe hostel is located 2min from the new Kiruna Bus Station.nnIn 2024 they will be completely demolished, and operate from their other new hostel hotel.

I stayed here for 3 nights and what a wonderful place! They informed me the free shuttle bus from train station which dropped me right on front.nCassandra is learning english so be patient with her and Mikael is amazing !!! He wasn’t just helpful, but very generous and excellent conversation.nnEarly check in is supported when available which is fantastic, had a shower and went out and about for the day.nnNow the breakfast is insane , literally better than5* luxury hotels I’ve stayed in so many options you get confused what to eat!nnLinnen is fresh and good quality bedding is warm and comfortable.nnThe laundry is free to use as is the awesome sauna , has industrial kitchen available for cookingnUp a storm. Also they sell items for convenience if needed . And have a bar .nnNow the showers are a little tired but hot and gold enough. They are moving old city to new city therefor not renovating atm.nnThe oldest and biggest church is across fromnHotel and local pub 3 min walk.nThe hill to walk up to see auras 15 min walk so don’t do tours !nnBest place to do husky sleigh is Kiruna husky . Book directly through their site, well loved dogs and well managed operation.
