Scandic Plaza Borås

Very nice hotel, clean rooms and good service. A bit too pricey for the offering. Cleaning service does not come if not booked. Poor WiFi connection.

Loud poorly insulated rooms. We were kept awake by screaming and running above us. When I called the front desk to ask for some assistance for peace and quiet they were rude and dismissive and clearly did nothing. It was also the only Scandic we ever stayed in that charged full price for a room and had the breakfast as an extra charge. We stayed in May and the rooms were incredibly hot, there was a fan in the room but it didn't do much. Borås will definitely be a hard no for future travels.

Rooms were very spacious and the bathroom was very nice. Was also very quiet and easy to sleep in the comfortable beds. The breakfast optionw could have been a bit better - waffles would have been nice. Staff was pleasant and the hotel looks great in general. Location is right in the center and close to everything.

Even more basic than other Scandic hotels. Rooms and amenities are worn and there’s basically nothing but a bed and shower soap. The air ventilation in the room oozes from the kitchen and shower head sprays all over the place.nnDon’t use their taxi booking services to Landvetter airport. The prices given by front desk are incorrect and becomes much higher in the taxi. Their taxis doesn’t accept Amex either.nnThere are less bad hotels in Borås.

Great friendly service. Central location. Comfortable bed. Yet no fridge in my room. Their staff is very helpful. Room is modern and well furnished.
