Clarion Collection Hotel Fregatten

Nothing special, very average hotel. We have stayed for a week. The cost was about 900 € for two bed room. No housekeeping in the whole week. We had to go for toilet paper and fresh towels to hotel reception. Breakfast was good with a lot of various food available. The dinner usualy wasn't so good. The lights on the cieling didn't work - therefore it was very dark in room.

Loved the place, close to the fortress and the beach. Clean rooms, helpful service at any time and breakfast and dinner was good choice of options. Would recommend to anyone who wants a nice place to stay and be close to everything in Varberg.

I can highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Varberg region. Ideally placed for Ringhals. Perfect location for walking into Varberg and along the cost around the fortress. Really nice food in the evening which is included in the cost! Great breakfast choice too!.

Nothing special. The staff is really friendly and trying their best. But the hotel is nothing more than standard. The price is only ok because the dinner, a sauna and access to a private gym in the same building is included. We were there on a summer weekend and is was packed! Breakfast was an unpleasant experience but that’s perhaps not the hotels fault. Just way too many people…
