Varbergs Stadshotell & Asia Spa

The cuisine at this establishment is of true Michelin calibre—an exquisite symphony of culinary perfection and artistry beyond the ordinary. The chef is, in essence, a masterful artist, crafting flavour experiences reminiscent of the most refined and exclusive modern restaurants in Paris and New York. The setting is nothing short of marvellous, an opulent green oasis akin to a blooming jungle, harmoniously complemented by a young, charming, and impeccably attentive staff. The window-side and square-facing tables come highly recommended. An absolute must for any discerning visitor to Sweden.

Disinterested, rude receptionist, unwilling to solve issues that the hotel created for us. We reached out to the hotel manager but did not get any reply. The spa is partially very nice but smells really bad in many of the “dry” areas. The rooms were tired and old, shower had mold. The more expensive rooms looked a bit better when we walked by in the corridor.

The spa and the hotel in general has a really good vibe to it.The staff are really friendly and helpful. They even packed us breakfast as we had to check out early morning .But the rooms seem to be a bit tacky with very bold coloured wallpaper and unnecessary furniture.

Good Spa, but be adviced that there is no bar or drinks allowed in the Spa. The hotel is good and the overall experience is good. I just wished they cold serve a cold beer or two in the Spa.

Fond memories from when I last stayed here about 14 years ago.nClassy lounge although the 'grand' piano flygel in Swedish is a fine baby.
