Danderyd Hospital Emergency Room

Absolutely stellar experience in the Emergency Room. I went with major stomach pain, I had to sit for a while while the nurses checked on me and processed the admission, but after I was seen by a doctor I was promptly prescribed painkillers that helped me out.nnThe staff was amazing, didn't bother to switch to English and even Spanish at one point!! And was always checking on me with compassion.nnThey also scheduled a followup that resulted on me getting a surgery that was also an amazing experience. This place changed how I view the Swedish healthcare system.

Worst emergency ever been to, 7 hours wait for a dr to speak less than 5 mins with you and then leaves without explaining a plan or what to expect. My heart goes out to the cases that suffered and will suffer here

Had my appendix removed, in and out took ~40h in total from no-idea-what's-wrong to all-fixed, or ~17h from entrance to surgery. Absolute fantastic people that took great care of me, I probably interacted with 30 employees of various roles, all remarkable, kind, caring, all took their time answering my bombardment of questions! As all the rooms in Surgery were full, they managed to get me a nice room for myself at the Orthopedic Department in the newly built section, with a great view overlooking Edsviken.nnThe only thing that makes me not rate with 5 stars is the waiting time between the various procedures. I was there a Sunday evening, it was not that many people in the waiting rooms. The chairs are fine though, and I got some snack :nnAnyway, I feel I can't express my gratitude enough for the people working here, you are amazing! If I ever need emergency care again, I'll definitely be back.

My partner waiting in emergency room just to meet a doctor from past 12 hours. We visited like 24 hours before, they sent back home to come after 8 am for närakuten and asked us to take pain killer.we went back to närakuten like 15 hours before and they referred back to emergency. This is not the way it should work I think
