Just checked out of the hotel, and I felt compelled to leave a review. I rarely write reviews, but in this case I think it is important to provide future guests with an honest impression.nnProsnn* The staff are genuinely friendly and do their best under the circumstances.n* The common areas, such as the lobby, are clean and well maintained.n* The breakfast is good, with fresh and high-quality ingredients.nnConsnn* The rooms are poorly cleaned and, in particular, the bathrooms were far from hygienic.n* The beds are acceptable, but the pillows are by far the worst I have ever encountered. They felt more like inexpensive decorative cushions than actual bed pillows.n* The location would be convenient if it were not situated directly next to a train station. During warmer periods, sleeping with the windows open is nearly impossible due to noise from trains and nearby highway traffic.nnTipsnn* Use public transport, or if the weather is nice, download the Voi app and take an e-scooter into the city. The route is very nicen* Spend the extra money and have dinner at Restaurant AG. It is absolutely worth it.
We decided to stay at this hotel despite some negative reviews, and we are really glad we did.nnFirst of all, this hotel offers amazing value for money. The city center is only about 15 minutes away by metro, and the metro station is just a 2–3 minute walk from the hotel, which made transportation very easy for us.nnWe stayed in both double and triple rooms. The rooms were very clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable and fresh. We also did not hear any disturbing train or outside noise during our stay.nnThe staff members were all very kind, friendly, and welcoming.nnluggage racks would be very useful since we had to open our suitcases on the floor. Also, while hair and body towels were provided, there were no hand towels in the room.nnalso there was no socket in bathroom which wasnt good.
I would not recommend staying at the nooq. The building and rooms in many parts shows their age, with broken details for the walls, the faucet being so loose from being worn out it was hard to control the water-flow and plenty of other things.nnI stayed at the nooq during the middle of June, when the sun pretty much never goes down in Stockholm. This quickly became a problem at the nooq as the curtains were too thin to effectively stop the light from the sun, which rises at like 4 AM in the morning.nnThe heat also became an issue, as the windows in my room could only be opened a tiny bit and the old house couldn't keep the heat out too well. There's no AC so a small room can get very warm.nnThe service was OK, as is the location, though it is quite far out from central Stockholm if you are to walk or bike. The metro or bus is a must if you want to head to the central area.nnGiven what I paid over 4000 SEK for 2 nights this hotel was very much not worth it. Chose another one.
My hotel experience was unfortunately very poor. First of all, the rooms were not clean; there were stains on the bed sheets, and the rooms were extremely cold. When I mentioned how cold the rooms were, I was told that they were heated with a central system and that I could get an extra blanket only if I paid for it. Charging for an extra blanket in such a cold room is beyond unreasonable.nnThe customer service was also very rude, and at times their responses were not even understandable. On the other hand, the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Additionally, the location of the hotel was very good.
We had a reservation at this hotel, and when we arrived, they had no more rooms available. This didn't just happen to us; it happened to many other families in the lobby. This occurred on April 24, 2026, and today, May 6, 2026, I still haven't received a refund.
