Absolutely wonderful experience! So beautiful building and garden! Staff is very friendly, kind and helpful, very professional. Service is most caring and excellent.nRoom was spaceful, and interior design is inventive and elegant. Top quality beds with fine Egyptian cotton sheets and first-class duvets and pillows made sleeping a lovely experience.nnRestaurant offers most delicious fine dining in tasty and fabulous courses paired with perfect selections of wines.nInterior is amazing - both finely restaured old and original with pinches of new and modern creating a stunning, chic, lovely entirety.nnBreakfast invites to remain and enjoy. As delucious flavours as in dinnertime!nnHotel provides all their wonderful properties and facilities for guests staying with dogs also. For a tiny extra fee dogs receive own beds, dishes, towels, doggy doo bags and treats!nnAnd this in such an equitable price!
Fantastic experience at Ulfsunda Slott ! This historic castle is full of charm with its beautiful garden all around, and is located just near the Lillsjön natural reserve.nThe bed was very comfortable, and the room completely quiet. The only strange thing was the three rows of curtains, a bit annoying at first but once you get used to it, it makes sense.nThe breakfast was very good, fresh and generous. I particularly liked the small baked tomatoes, very tasty. Surprisingly, the background music was french songs both old and new – quite funny for a swedish hotel. I was also surprised by the good mood of the staff, people in the kitchen laughing and enjoying themselves just doing what they do. Best way to start the day.nThe hotel may seem a bit off-center but is close to many public transport stations : Norrbyvägen bus direct to Drottningholm, Johannesfred tram to Liljesholmen, Abrahamsberg and Stora Mossen metro direct to Gamla Stan. A nice and welcoming place to stay, I'll make sure to stop by again
We loved staying here! We spent the afternoon wandering around the castle and playing billiards. We had a wonderful 3 course meal with gluten free options. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of hot water for the huge bath tub. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful getting us a taxi at the right time for all our luggage. The history of the place made for fascinating reading and exploring.
We were disappointed on our stay here, based on the good reviews we had seen and the price of the place. The lady at the reception was polite, but made the check-in in just a couple of phrases. She made no mention of what could be done in the castle apart from the breakfast the next morning. The room felt small, we could barely walk around the bed, and we were not happy with the graffiti decor our room had. It was two walls of graffiti paint. Some of the electric sockets were loose, and there was dust over the lamps. Moreover the hot water handle did not work to wash hands. We told the reception and as we only stayed one night, and they were fully booked, no attempt was made to fix it, or give us any type of compensation for the trouble. The breakfast was all right and the decor on the dinning rooms was nice. Sadly I don’t feel the price compensates the room we were provided.
Went here for the valentines weekend package and can only say crazy positive things about this experience. The food was exceptional and the staff made us feel very welcome. The rooms maintain a castle feeling also. Special mention to Leonard at reception who gave a very personal feel to everything which was great.
