Very welcoming staff at reception. The location is in the city center, and it's about a fifteen minute walk from the train station. Downsides are that the hotel is a bit dated and breakfast is just basic.
Wonderful central location. Walkable to the city center. Service of the reception staff is impeccable. On street parking can be confusing but the reception staff guided pretty well.
The room was standard Scandic level, not particularly sound proofed from the street below. The bathroom had conditioner! We had a 4 beds room with a dog, got to borrow a dog bowl and she got some snacks during check in. The breakfast was 99kr and one of the better ones. Large selections, everything was fresh, there was ample seating. Would absolutely stay here again!
The rooms appear to be compact and quite warm. There was also a loud fan in my room. As for breakfast, it follows the typical Scandic style, offering options that should satisfy most people with average tastes including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free.nAnd the service staff is so sweet, lovely, personal.nnIF you prefer the more luxurious, brand new feeling, choose another place. This is more a good place to have as a home base for several visits.
Mostly positive things. The breakfast was fine, standard for Sweden. The room was clean and nice. They had a nice crib for the little one. There is also a play room for kids, which is genius for a hotel. I don’t know how many people travel with toddlers but it really made a huge difference for us. It was so cold our car wouldn’t start and the staff was personally very helpful and even tried to help us jump start the car with their car. Super friendly and helpful. The room had, the full suite of toiletries. A bathtub which is nice with little kids. A nice window with a view. The sauna was good, but you had to book a time. The bad part of this hotel is the parking. Super unclear and hard to find. We parked in a spot that we thought was a spot and even asked a staff member to confirm but in the morning we got a parking ticket for 800kr. Very disappointed with that, they need to provide better parking options for their guests.
