Stockholms Gästabud

A small, charming Swedish restaurant. We ordered the marinated reindeer meat first and later tried the Swedish meatballs. I expected the reindeer meat to be tough and dry, but on the contrary, it was tender and aromatic. The Swedish meatballs come in a portion of three, but they’re quite large. They were delicious, especially with the sauce. The staff provides service with a friendly smile. It’s a place in Old Town where you can enjoy a nice and pleasant dinner without spending exorbitant amounts.

Cozy and lively little restaurant, right in the middle of Gamla Stan. Had to wait to be seated, the place is fully packed so be prepared to stand on line a little a little more if your party is three or bigger. Worth the wait though, the dishes were delicious!

Fabulous dinner here our first night in Stockholm. Had the traditional meatballs which were excellent! Dessert was so delicious too. Lovely service and just a terrific place overall. Highly recommend.

Amazing little gem hidden in Gamla Stan. You have to go, especially when the sun hits the curbside seats and you have a beer. Watch the people walk by and enjoy the extremely friendly service. You can people-watch, take in the sun, and have a cold beer. What else do you need?nnHighly recommended! The restaurant is amazing, and the food is to die for. But remember, you can't book. The line for lunch can grow rather long if you are late.

I don’t think it’s worthy to line up for the meatball.nAll the dishes are a bit salty.nOverall the bread with the soup was nice.nDon’t recommend the pork cheek not tender as expected.
