Hotel Amalias Hus

Very cute little hotel with a historic style in a perfect location. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast very nice.nThere's no sound proofing for obvious reasons, but it was very calm when we visited.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room was very cute and historical. We brought our dog and the staff was incredibly accommodating left some dog treats for us in the room. The food was the highlight of this hotel. The dinner was one of the best meals I have had. They source all their food locally and create a new menu based on what is in season. Breakfast was also amazing. I would highly recommend staying here if you visit Gränna.

We rated Amalia Hus as excellent because on every level without exception it is.nThe room was wonderful, the dinner was superb and the breakfast 5-courses was something we will be talking about for some time.nThe service by the staff from the front desk to the restaurant is faultless.nIncidentally when we arrived in Stockholm one of my friends asked me where we had been and he had also stayed in the past at Amalia Hus. He shares my opinion that there is only one place to stay in Granna and that is right here.

Wonderful place that melts my heart.

The room was big and inspired by the 18th century. It was a very nice and clean room. The hotel also had a beautiful garden with tons of flowers. But if you get a room facing the main street theres some noise from the traffic, and the old building isn't very isolated from sounds.nnDinner in the hotel restaurant was okay, the food was good but the portions were way too small, and very expensive.nnThe breakfast was also okay. Nothing special here.
