We had a wonderful stay at Best Western Solhem Hotel! The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home they were friendly, attentive, and even made special gluten-free waffles for my husband, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, and we appreciated being allowed a free late checkout, which made our departure much more relaxed. While some rooms are newly renovated and quite comfortable, a heads-up that it can get quite warm in the evenings due to no AC or ventilation, and the uphill location might be a bit challenging with a stroller. Overall, though, the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service more than made up for it. Highly recommend for a cozy and caring stay!
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was fresh and offered good variation of items. Clean bathrooms even in the lobby. Very pleasant and welcoming lobby. The hotel did not get 5 stars because the room floor was not swept well and one could find dust and dirt from previous guests. I am sure this was a miss, as the amenities and the room are very clean and well-maintained. A great place to stay in Visby.
Room was OK, hotel was nice and central, good breakfast, smooth administration.
Stay here and not in town. Quiet. Very nice rooms and good breakfast . Very near south gate. Parking can be difficult
The service was poor. The lady said breakfast was from 6 am, so we woke up just in time for the ferry and missed it.nnSloppy service and checkin. Otherwise good Swedish standards.
