Staff is polite, rooms are clean and a bit old timey which is a thing this hotel has. I have stayed here once before and honestly reason I booked again is really nice breakfast, location and fact room was clean really well.nnOne thing I did not like is bathtub in the room. My dislike for bathtubs in hotels is huge and I am super scared to use them fearing I would slip. However, I think if I only mentioned something to front desk they would change my room, so can’t remove any starts for that it would not be fair.
An outstanding stay from start to finish. The front desk team was exceptional, warm, helpful, and full of local insight. They made everything seamless, from arranging a bike rental to storing it safely during my visit.nnA special thanks to the night staff who handled my early checkout with care and arranged an airport cab effortlessly, a true gift when catching a dawn flight.nnAlready looking forward to returning next year.
This hotel is within the old city wall. It has cozy rooms, a cheerful staff and good Nordic style food. Breakfast can be a bit crowded if you're late, but that is to be expected.nGetting here from the harbor is very easy and having this hotel as a starting point for exploring Visby would work for anyone, young and old.nIf you stay here and have your own car you are allowed to drive your luggage here even if this is inside the old town.nGoing to Visby? Stay here.
Nice location especially if you take a ferry with baggage! and good breakfast. We stayed here last year and came back this summer again.
The hotel is well located, in the city center of Visby, it looks old, I still expected more for the room, the toilets but it's still okay.
