Stayed here on several occasions. Not the fanciest hotel with a bit dated furnishings but certainly comfortable enough. Great service when we ran into some issues, we were taken very seriously. We also got to change rooms without question when we indicated we wanted one without carpet. Good breakfast with a decent selection. Fantastic location. Overall very happy with the hotel, especially for the price we paid!
Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff that were very accommodating. The hotel lobby is very nice, has a bar and a lounge area. The breakfast area is very nicely decorated and has a good atmosphere. The breakfast area also serves as a bistro with bar in the evening. The hotel also has a rooftop bar open in the evenings.
A bit dates, but has its charm. Room rather small, but cozy. Breakfast rather average.
This is a special hotel to review in Visby since it’s a bit different old and quirky but in an overall good way.nnThe hotel is a bit old and worn in some places but they have managed to I would say embrace it and make it in some ways a bit of the charm.nSo if you are looking for something new modern and up to date look elsewhere. If you on the other hand are looking for great locations, a great breakfast selection and can accept a bit quirky and old interior design and standard at an affordable price this might be one of your best options in Visby.nnRooms are clean and staff is friendly and helpful so for a good price and location this is a good place to stay.nnDownside is that during summer rooms can get very warm depending on the weather.
Really enjoyed our stay! Genuine and nice hotel, very accommodating and friendly staff, great food with locally produced products. Fresh breakfast buffet. The sea, restaurants, cafes, activities, historical spots, city center etc within walking distance.
