Clarion Grand Hotel Helsingborg

This hotel has seen better days. Rooms are tiny, smelly stale + cigarette smoke, renovated in 1980s. Wooden windows so forget about having a calm night - you will hear everything. Bathroom was horrendous - black mold between the tiles and there were hair not mine : on the hairdryer.nnI would say avoid it and choose something from this century.nnTbh: Breakfast was good and service was friendly.

Very nice room but there is no warm water, so enjoy a cold bath/shower. The breakfast was VERY BUSY and it was in a small cramped room. Service was good and the location was good, right in the middle of the city

Bathroom is tiny. I had to hold in my stomach to get in to the shower. Literarly. My knee's almost tutching the wall, sitting on the toilet. Dirty older, bad shower head. I'm rolling into the midle of the bed while sleeping. Worn bed?nnHad a late breakfest. Was 15 minutes past 11:00 checkout 11:00.They charged me 10€ to get back into the hotel room blackmail to get my things. This was already a 220€ room. This is a dealbreaker for me. A matter of principal.nThe audacity.nPeople working there seem nice. Hotel owners needs a reality check.nnI will not bother this hotel again. 28 years as a traveling service engineer. More than 4000 nights in hotels arround the world. This gets to be a New low in standard. Talk about beeing cheap....

Hotel location and reception staff were great. Limited parking and having to move car before 6am due to road cleaning. Reception/ bar area are full of character but our room was characterless and basic. The room was far too warm even with portable fan on all night, no thermostat. First time in a hotel with no mini bar or tea/coffee facilities in room.

Lovely hotel, In a great location close to the station and ferry port, with many restaurants and bars nearby.nnGood breakfast choice and so,e nice cocktails available for later in the evening!
