Gripsholm Inn

This review is about the pub/restaurant Skänken, which doesn't have its own Maps entry - I have not stayed at the hotel itself.nnDecent food with a little bit of variation on the menu, though only one meat-free option. Service was pleasant enough and the environment is quaint and cosy. A bit high price for the overall quality, perhaps.

Quaint Inn established in 1609 in a small waterside town. Rooms and beds are small, in typical Scandinavian style, but clean and comfortable. Wonderful restaurant and bar and spectacular view.

For me it is personal and the best place in Sweden. Recommended everyone to visit this and you will fall in love for life

Lovely hotel, staff and great food. Pretty much the best visit we’ve had during our entire trip in Sweden. Super cozy hotel. We didn’t get to see the town but the small town where the hotel’s situated in looks very charming also.

A genuine and lovely place. The best possible outdoors seating. Nice and cool in the room. Try the restaurant, you will not be disappointed. It is as good as the view, overlooking the historic castle of Gripsholm by the water.
