Clarion Collection Hotel Bolinder Munktell

Lovely hotel with the most stunning rooms I have experienced at this price range. Offers a nice and fresh breakfast buffet as well as an evening course, both included in the price. We went there with kids and having a second meal offered saves time and energy to do spend on other activities. The hotel is located a short walk from the city centre where all shops and additional necessities are found. In the vicinity of the hotel there are a couple of nice museums, a large playground for kids, nice scenery with water running just outside the hotel and parks to stroll around in. There is also a fairly large indoor swimming pool right next to the hotel where one can do ordinary swimming as well as enjoying a slide, watch a film or two in the swimming pool cinema, swim around next to a big aquarium filled with fish and the best of it all is that the water is warmer than a traditional swimming pool.nFriendly staff giving their all to make your stay as nice as possible. We arrived late for dinner and food was saved for us and the restaurant at our own disposal.nnA great great hotel for anyone going to Eskilstuna for whatever reason!

The hotel is perfect! Very well located in a historic region in Eskilstuna, in a perfect place for who wants a calm staying and at the same time enjoying the view of the canal.nVery well located for who appreciates sunrises and sunsets...

We spent a night in this rather run down hotel. Our room was nicely located on the top floor overlooking the Eskilstuna waterways. The cleaning was not well done with layers of dust and previous guests' items left behind. The Clarion concept includes breakfast and dinner of Swedish industrial food quality, e.g. rather mediocre. On the positive side is the staff, in particular in the reception, that does everything they can for you. The hotel is presently, in May of 2024, under a well needed renovation. It remains to be seen if this will improve the rather bad value for money.

We booked our stay and when we came to the hotel they mentioned the spa was closed, which was not mentioned anywhere online.nnFine.nnThen we came the next morning 09:15 at the breakfast. We kindly asked a member of staff if we could have some fruits. She told us that the breakfast closes at 09:00 so she cannot do anything because that is the rule.nnWe told her that nobody mentioned at the front desk that the breakfast closes at 09:00. She said that it was our fault and that we easily could have figured out ourself.nnI have never been to a hotel where the communication is worse than here. How is it possible that clarion supports this type of costumer service?nnThe staff is king, not the client. We will not return.

Great and cozy place to stay and have a rest in one of the most beautiful cities of Sweden Eskilstuna. A historical place renewed for a amazing hotel with parking and fantastic views on a city centre.
