We had an excellent experience at Hotel Diplomat during our recent visit. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! Very nice, comfortable rooms, convenient location and great overall atmosphere.nnA special mention must go to Victoria G at the reception, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely warm in all our interactions. Her professionalism and attentive service made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived.nnWe would absolutely recommend Hotel Diplomat to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning on our next trip!
Hotel diplomat is an anchor establishment asking one of the most exclusive stretches of waterfront property in Stockholm. Upon walking in, we were greeted with beautiful, classic features that made it instantly feel warm and comfortable.nnThe staff was extremely friendly and helpful in what we later learned were a wide range of languages. Murtaza greeted us in English and gave us the lay of the land.nnAfter checking in, we took the quaint little elevator up to our room and marveled at the beautiful woodwork and stained glass adorning the stairwell that spiralled up around the elevator.nnThe room was perfectly sized, with heated floors in the bathroom and wooden accents everywhere. A few stairs led down to the bed, where the vaulted ceilings made the room feel large. A balcony door faced the waterfront and let us step out trip take in all it's beauty. My favorite was seeing it lit up at night. The stairs in the room were a little difficult to see at night but we quickly adapted.nnWe explored the city in our three days here and the location was perfectly central for all our adventures. We walked a bit, took cars a few times as well as the local transit.nnWhen it was time to check out, we were pleasantly surprised that Murtaza hooked us up with a late checkout. That let us explore the city in the morning without having to stress about our luggage. It was the perfect was to wrap up our stay in Stockholm. The team here is great, the food in the restaurant was delicious at dinner and breakfast and made us feel right at home during our stay.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hotel Diplomat, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was inviting and elegant, making it the perfect setting for a delightful evening.nnOne of the standout aspects of my visit was the professionalism of the head waiter Greg. His attention to detail and knowledge of the menu truly enhanced the dining experience. He was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that we felt taken care of throughout our meal. His recommendations were spot on, and he took the time to explain the dishes, which really made the experience more enjoyable.nnIn summary, Hotel Diplomat offers a wonderful dining experience highlighted by the outstanding professionalism of the head waiter. I can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to returning for another delightful evening!
Had an amazing stay at Hotel Diplomat. We tried out the gym and sauna both were great. The room had a mesmerising view of Stockholm and the breakfast was 10/10 you have to try the salmon omlette. Got very nice service from the staff, special thanks to Murtaza at the front desk.
One of the few hotels in Stockholm with history, character , class and perfect location . Easy to center out to Djurgården or Sthlm city , restaurant serves swedish food in its best form and the spa is the cherry on the top.
