We stayed here over New Year’s for one night before taking the ferry. The hotel was very convenient for our plans, and my kids loved their beds. There is a supermarket nearby, but few options within walking distance for entertainment or lunch. The restaurant and sky bar had limited hours and were closed each time we tried, though snacks are available in the lobby. Breakfast offered a good variety of local and international options and was a nice way to start the day. Staff were fine, nothing remarkable. I’d recommend this hotel for a very short stay, but not as a base if you want to explore Stockholm and stay in the city center.
Spacious, comfy rooms. Location depends on where you’re planning on visiting. Fairly close to Gardet station so worked well for us. Significantly better value than some other more central hotels. Excellent choice for breakfast, so worth booking that at the cheaper advanced rate
Chose the hotel to just relax with the family. Spa was nice with incredible views.nGood food and fast, nice service in the restaurant and Skybar.nGood common area with table tennis, shuffleboard etc.nGood breakfast.nNice rooms, comfortable beds.
Prices were absolute ripoff when making the reservation on the night of stay, even for a standard room. This is a 70-90€ hotel range in quality-to-price in Stockholm NOT 180-200!! Only one of the four staff members I encountered had manners and was pleasant to communicate with. Room itself was cozy, modern and had good noise resistance despite the construction work around the hotel area. Note that the breakfast is around 20€ and spa 150€, they are additinal services not included in the normal prices.
I’ve stayed at many Scandic hotels across Sweden and Denmark, but this one truly stood out because of the staff. Everyone we met was exceptionally kind and welcoming — far beyond what I expected. They really made our stay special.
