What better way to learn about the history of a country you're visiting than going to the Military Museum. It's very worthwhile, with not only a lot of artifacts, but interactive displays and plenty of information about the time periods, historical figures, battles, and more.nnIt's not too difficult to find and the entrance price is relatively priced. There are 3 floors of history to explore, and they all lead you in their respective timelines. Normally you start on the 3rd floor and make your way down.nnVery well set up and displayed, it was a very enjoyable tour of the museum. With history, you can always learn something new. Highly recommend this museum.
I was not museum person until I experience here. The presentation of Swedish history kept me interested. We spent 2.5 hours inside reading, inspecting everything without boring. We could continue if it weren't close to closing hours. Also they gave you chance to feel the history physically. There are few items that is allowed to to wear, sit, lift, inspect etc. It was super exciting experience to visit this museum.nAlso the blonde lady on the entrance is THE best. She was helpful, kind, and quite warm person despite the coldness of Sweden. Thank you!
A fantastic museum, with very interesting and realistic models and displays. There's also a philosophical element that allows us to reflect on the nature of war.
Wonderful museum! Has 3 floors with a-lot of exhibitions. There is alot of text to read , and it could be made in more modern way, but other than that, everything is amazing. You need to spare 5 hours in order to read and walk through everything!
Had a great experience, I liked that it had more of a humanistic perspective and not a militaristic, the staff at the entrance was rude but I couldn't care less.
