If you like models, this is the place for you, as there are tons of them here, plus other interesting exhibits, exhibitions, and stories.
It is not very big, but it is a more spectacular exhibit. It provides a comprehensive picture of Swedish naval history. It is a pleasure to walk among the meticulously created models. Thank you!
120 Kroner entry fee. Upstairs is an interesting exhibit on shipping. They also have tons of models of Swedish naval ships. Their exhibit on refugees from the Baltic states during WWII was well done and moving.
Very nice museum, even if you're not specifically interested in this topic. The model ships look amazing and even though the museum is small we spent around two hours there. It's apparently popular with families as there were loads of kids running around. Staff was super friendly and welcoming.
A wonderful place and a amazing museum of the Swedish maritime history. It will be interesting for historians and tourists, children of any age. The entrance is free for the public, there are permanent and temporary exhibitions, there is a cafe, a picnic area, a children's playground
