We had a great time at Skansen. The old houses and farm buildings were fascinating to walk through – each one comes from a different part of Sweden, so you really get a feel for how people lived in the past. Seeing the Nordic animals was another highlight for us; lynx, wolverines, bears, and moose all in one place is pretty special.nnWe visited as two adults, but it’s easy to see how much fun this would be for my kids too, with the animals, open-air history, and hands-on activities. There are also cafés and nice spots to take a break, so you can easily spend most of the day here.nnDefinitely worth a visit if you’re in Stockholm.

Skansen in Stockholm is a fantastic place that effortlessly blends history, nature, and culture. We had a great time, and a few things really stood out.nThe Nordic animals, it was wonderful to see so many creatures, from bears to moose, in what felt like their natural habitats.nnWe also loved exploring the Swedish old houses. Walking through the beautifully preserved buildings felt like a journey back in time. Each house told a unique story, giving us a great look into how people lived in different eras and regions.
Must - visit in Stockholm. Beautiful nature and an unique open-air museum experience. I loved everything about it.nJust heads up: it gets really crowded and at times the people were constantly stepping on my shoes and pushing me, scaring and feeding the animals.
Great possibility to learn more about Sweden tradition and past. After visiting Skansen you feel that you more understand their way of living. Strong recommendation. A lot of atractions for whole family and place for collecting nice memories. We enjoyed!
