I recently stayed at the BEST WESTERN Hotel Royal for 5 nights during my vacation in Copenhagen and Malmö. The hotel is conveniently located within an 800-meter walk from Malmö Central train station and is close to the city center, supermarkets, and restaurants.nnThe breakfast was good, but I would suggest adding more variety of local products and rotating the options, as it remained the same throughout my stay.nnThe view from my room was lovely, with a pleasant sight of people boating. The reception staff, especially Sameer, were friendly and helpful, recommending some great, budget-friendly, and authentic restaurants nearby. Housekeeping was generally good and kept the rooms clean, though the towels for the bathroom floor was not provided after the first two days, which might have been an oversight.nnOne area for improvement would be the TV in the room. It was not a smart TV, so we couldn’t connect to Netflix or YouTube. Additionally, the mattress was quite soft, which caused me significant back pain from the first night. While I managed for a night or two, the discomfort persisted throughout my stay, and I ended up doing yoga each morning to relieve the pain.nnOverall, my experience was positive, and I appreciated the hotel’s location and service. With a few improvements, it could be even better.
pretty clean everywhere but some furniture is little bit old. nice breakfast but needs more assortment. amazing coffee for free 24 hours a day. really nice personal. i enjoyed my holidays there! recommend!
The rooms doesn't look like they have been renovated since last decade, but the toilets are nice. Quite affordable, but again, it's reflected in the rooms.nGreat location, and nothing really bad about the hotel, just very low room standard.
Very conveniently located for Malmo's central train station and the Malmo sights which are easily walkable. My single room was quite small with a single bed. It wasn't luxurious but it was quiet, clean, comfortable except the pillows and had everything I needed for a couple of nights. Wifi worked well in the room. There was a kettle with tea and coffee, a hairdryer, plenty of hot water. The room safe was locked shut so couldn't be used. No aircon but a fan and it was quiet enough that having the window open wasn't a problem. Reception staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent. Dinner was available in the hotel but there are plenty of food options and shops nearby.
Room was great, neat and clean, also lots of space, would have been better to have a double bed but it was fine. Service was fantastic, lovely people. Location is almost a heart of the town, next to the Malmö castle, coloured houses, nice restaurants around and many other places small town can have.
