Clarion Hotel Malmö Live

From the moment we arrived at the reception to the comfort of our room, everything in this hotel was perfect. We were welcomed with a warm smile at the front desk and had the feeling that we were the only guests in the entire hotel. The view from our window was absolutely breathtaking—we didn’t even feel the need to turn on the TV. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained. I was especially pleased with the selection of cosmetics provided in the room—it truly reflected the great respect and care shown to the guests.nWe also attended a concert on the first floor in the concert hall, which was a wonderful experience. And the restaurant deserves special praise—fantastic food and truly amazing people working there. Even though the hotel was quite busy, the level of service made us feel as if we were the only guests and the whole world revolved around us. The live acoustic music in the lobby and the perfectly selected playlist created a magical atmosphere.nThe accommodation was wonderful and very comfortable. The overall atmosphere was simply incredible. Thank you very much, and I wish you continued success.

Our stay at Clarion Hotel Malmö Live was excellent.n​We secured a room upgrade prior to arrival, which was a good investment and highly recommended.n​The room was fantastic: well-designed, modern, and comfortable. The view was a major highlight, offering sights of the city, the Øresund Strait, and the Turning Torso. The bathroom was luxurious and functional, featuring both a separate shower and a bathtub.n​The breakfast was equally impressive. The selection was wide-ranging, the quality was high, and the buffet was well-executed.n​Highly recommended. We had a great experience and would choose this hotel again.

This hotel fails on some very basic expectations.nnThe in-room refrigerator was not functioning and was instead emitting warm air. When reported to the front desk, staff stated they “couldn’t do anything” and made no effort to proactively resolve the issue. I had to repeatedly follow up to even hear what alternatives might exist. The final suggestion was that we use a refrigerator in their office, which is completely inappropriate, especially for a family traveling with a child who needs milk stored safely in the room.nnAfter this interaction, I lost trust in the hotel’s ability to provide even the most basic amenities or handle problems responsibly. If something this fundamental cannot be addressed, or even taken seriously, it raises concerns about what else is being overlooked.nnThe bathroom had visible mold in the shower, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.nnMore broadly, the room was in poor condition, with noticeable dents, damage, and general wear throughout. It did not reflect the standard one would reasonably expect from a hotel stay.nnThis property appears inadequately managed. I would not recommend it, particularly to families or anyone expecting basic comfort and service.

Terrible customer service. No customer service thinking at all.nnThe first room we got was smelling really bad. When entering the bathroom was the toilet stained ! We went to the receptionist and told them nicely about the dirty toilet. The only thing they said was “we need to check if we can get you another room in the same price category”. No remorse, no apology, no nothing. I was shocked. Even though I think maybe a coupon for the bar or something would’ve been the right reaction but not even a “we are sorry this happened”?!nnWe did get another room which was much smaller and one floor down.nnWhen we checked out another colleague asked how we liked the room. We mentioned again that we had to switch because of the dirty room before. Only reaction “Hope this room was better”.

Was upgraded to a suite on the 23rd floor. Amazing view, room was very nice, but has a few minor issues that could indicate that the hotel is not brand new.. Staff was very friendly.nBreakfast buffet was nicely set up. Omelet station was a nice touch.nA bit further away from the city center compared to many of the other hotels in Malmø, but not that far that it made a huge difference.
