Scandic St Jörgen

As a family with kids from Sweden, we have stayed at many Scandic because of the family rooms and we knew what to expect.nWe were on the road so we only booked one day prior to arriving and got a junior suite instead of a family room. Didn’t feel like it was worth 2,500 kr for one night breakfast excluded.nThe hotel and rooms feel very old and in need of renovation. The only plus is the location which in the middle of Malmö.

Currently staying here, end of July - August 2nd 2026.nnThe room is clean and the staff are professional. That is the positives.nnThere is no AC in the room. So it’s quite hot, window needs to be open to let air in but that also lets the sound of screaming birds in.nnThere is no fridge in the room, so can’t store your own cold drinks.nnThere was no glasses is the room, had to ask for them from the lobbies bar to be able to drink tap water.nnThere isn’t a kettle, so no coffee or tea. You have to pay for it.nnThere is a sauna, but it isn’t turned on until 1600 even though the gym is open from 0600. So that ruins that.nnThe rooms are really boring.nnThe location is obviously really good, but there are other hotels that also have a really good location and AC and coffee and more personality.nnCannot recommend this hotel.

Not bad… For long stay customers they have saunasmixed genders, gym and bar. Breakfast was not provided on our trip as well. The rooms were brilliant but a bit noisy. Everything else was fine.

i had a single room. it was spacious, had a lazy chair and a desk and enough room to store your stuff. The room wasnt fancy, and definitely dated, but it was clean and it absolutely functioned. WIndow could actually open enough to let in fresh air.nUnfortunately super noisy because of all the censor with their loud cars showing how amazing they are, and drunks chanting sports hymns in the middle of the night. Keep the window closed at night or wear earplugs.nthe staff were all very friendly.

Seriously needs an upgrade.nThe room and bathroom was quite dirty. Dust everywhere. Sheets and linen were fine, but the rest not so much.nA worn out floor. A random small ugly «art» on the wall. In general, seems like noone cares.nNot to Scandic standards.
