UNITY Malmö

I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Unity Malmö. The staff were extremely kind, respectful, and professional, which made a big difference. The hotel is very clean, well-organized, and impressively quiet. The location is excellent and convenient, and the rooms are spacious. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malmö.

I stayed here for 4 nights. The property itself is very pleasant, especially the garden terrace, which is thoughtfully designed as a chill-out zone – a little jungle where you can truly relax.nUnfortunately, I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. I raised this with the manager, who promised it would be resolved, but it seems there is a lack of proper control and supervision, as some issues were not addressed. The hallway on the 3rd floor also had a very unpleasant smell.nFor the price I paid, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness. I found a lot of someone else’s hair in the room, which shows that vacuuming and floor cleaning are not done properly. The room facilities are otherwise excellent, but this was definitely a downside.nThe location is not right in the center, but it’s manageable, as the hotel offers bicycle rental at a reasonable price around €10 per day/24 hours. However, I believe the reception staff could use some additional training. One employee was not very polite when I asked for information about certain locations and transportation. It felt like he was unwilling to help and lacked patience. Not everyone is suited for a customer-facing role, as working with people requires effort and empathy.nThe neighborhood itself is calm and quiet. Please take this review as constructive feedback, in the hope that you will improve housekeeping standards and bring cleanliness to a higher level.

I stayed in Unity for 4 weeks while I was in Malmö for work.nAnother one of these new places that looks good in pictures but uncomfortable in reality.nCheaply done. Extremely uncomfortable sofa beds and very cheap pillows. I had back pain waking up most of the days. The sofa bed is very short and i am not even a tall person.nThey need to get proper beds. It's not much to ask for.nThere was a loose tile in the bathroom floor in my room and the place is like couple of years old.nThey advertise themselves as a long stay studios. But they have 5 hangers and two drawers that should fit all your stuff.nnThey only have blackout curtains in the rooms, so you either have no privacy or you don't see the sunlight and have the lights on. Easily fixed with 50 kr curtains from IKEA.nThey clean once per week but they leave you with two trash bags in between, so you have to buy your own trash bags basically.nThe staff seemed not interested with no engagement when you ask them about things.nThe location is okay, 15 minutes walk and you are in very lively areas of Malmö but the hotel itself is in the middle of industrial area with most of the area being empty or under construction.nOverall the place is fine for a week but definitely not comfortable for a long stay.

I stayed at the hotel for like 4 nights. The premises are fairly clean and the room-size was decent - though the TV didn’t work. Nora, the receptionist, was AMAZING. Super thoughtful and helpful also. She made my stay super smooth! The owner of the hotel should be thankful to have her working there…

It is what it says it is, hotel with apartments. The kitchen was great in terms of equipment. They have decent gym as well. Recommended if you don't need luxury and want something practical.
