Haymarket by Scandic

Stayed in Room 810...master suite with breathtaking terrace views across the city.nService was so-so....check-in took 10 mins whilst two receptionists silently looked at the same screen....nBar service was good.nRoom-wise, it was nice and clean. The terrace area was amazing, although too cold and snowy to make any meaningful use of it.nIt was lovely and spacious, bed was super comfy.nWe were treated to a flea market in the square on Sunday morning.nLocation wise this was ideal for many locations in the city.nWe would stay again for sure.

Breakfast was amazing with a huge variety, and the staff were super friendly — the omelette station even cleaned pans and utensils for me as a vegetarian, which was a thoughtful touch. The location was great, and the restaurant and bar were always busy and lively. The room could have been cleaner, with some stains on the bedding and bed runner and a dirty floor. The staff were very receptive when I mentioned this at checkout.

I enjoyed my stay so much. It's near the central station. It's walking distance to a lot of interesting areas to explore in Stockholm. The rooms are ckean with very comfortable bed. The bathroom is good-sized. Breakfast is of wide variety. Highly recommended!

It is an art deco building. Resembles to 1920’s kind of time.nRooms are the standard size of the brand, so not very big, but bigger than others in the same price range. Bed was ok but maybe too soft.nService was fine and workers were always very helpful specially the breakfast staff was always very welcoming. Food was also very good and to a very high standard, comparable to other high end chains.nThe hotel has a bar that is busy and popular among locals and tourists. Very good place for a drink. The restaurant was also good.nDownside, they didn’t had any amenity kits that always come handy.nAll in all, I highly recommend staying there. It is a very nice place.

My stay at the Haymarket by Scandic was fantastic. The building, the 1920's decor, the choice of music, and the vibe is top notch.nThe room is big, the bed if confortable, and the bathroom details are very pretty.nAs someone who travels for work, I especially enjoyed my stay at the Haymarket because it doesn't feel like another hotel room with white walls and no vibes. Also the room is super super quiet, which is so important for me.nThe location is perfect - there is a 17min speed train from the airport that drops you off at a short 5min walk & there are a couple train stations that are also 5-10min walks which was very very convenient.nIf you enjoy shopping it seems there is lots of shops around.nThe staff was welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and everything is freshly made.nThis was my first time in Stockholm, but I'll definitely stay here for my future trips as well.
