Scandic Grand Central

Very central stay for our four nights. It’s very central to everything, cafes, restaurants, shops, very walkable. Quick check in no issues. Room clean and comfy, quiet. We were out all day so only there for sleeping in. If you want a room clean you must request at reception, we didn’t bother as not necessary for such a short time. Room has a safe as well and good supply of bathroom products. Breakfast was great. Was a very busy weekend when we were there but love the vibe of Stockholm and it’s sights. Train station not far and if you need trams available,if you don’t want to walk.

Lovely hotel. Decent rooms from the one I saw. Great atmosphere and staff. Shout out to William in the restaurant who remedied a steak situation this evening with great aplomb and understanding. The food is really good in the bar and the restaurant. We've tried it a few nights. They tend to over salt the chips so ask for no salt!nHad a lovely dx75, thanks to their fab mixologist. Nicest take on French 75 I've had .nAll in all really dedicated staff from the great reception people to the lovely night security officer to the thorough room cleaners. Shout out to our lovely waitress this evening also.

location:nngood enough to go shopping by walk.nnservice:nn1.staff were kind but had some issue when check in. the reception couldn't find the name so waited for an hour to check in.nn2. room wasn't cleaned up although requested. when requested twice it got cleaned but not properly. bed sheets weren't changed although requested and the carpet wasn't vacuumed at all.nn3.staff at restaurant were so friendly and well educated for service.nn4. the heater wasn't good enough to warm up my frozen bodynnfood: perfect

Fun themed hotel that was clean and cozy. Stayed here for proximity to train station. Some noise came through from guests having a little too much fun above and the pillows were a little worn down, but aside from that no complaints about the room product itself. Decorated with music lyric posters. Front desk was helpful and accommodating. There was an ice machine on floor with cups.

Good hotel in general but I just have some recommendations regarding food safety. I have noticed multiple temperature abuses regarding holding cold food at the lunch buffet and breakfast. I noticed that the whole cold items arrived around 10:00 am at the buffet area and without any kind of temperature control, sat there till 4:00 pm. The breakfast food including cold cuts and fruits/vegetables has not been held in iced trays or ice buckets. Even milk and coffee add one’s sitting there until they finish.
