I came in as solo from Canada before starting university again. Loved my stay here!!! I stayed for four nights. The staff was incredibly friendly and able to help whenever.nThey offered cleaning service at a later time upon request as well which was really handy since I was jet lagged and needed to sleep in.nWhen I needed help making a reservation at a restaurant, the staff called the restaurant for me and made a reservation in Swedish, which was really kind and it made my last dinner memorable. The room was more than spacious for me.nnLocation is amazing close to many essential shops and a station that will take you anywhere. This stay made my first time in Sweden memorable.nnI would rate closer to 4.5 is due to some inconveniences in the room.nnThe bed was super comfy, but I really wish the duvet cover was enclosed with buttons, ties or zipper etc. It was an open type, slip-in duvet cover in my room that would not hold the used duvet properly. This was bothersome and I really, really wish the duvet was more securely put in the cover.nThis made part of my stay uncomfortable.nI toss around in bed a lot and on my last night I woke up to the exposed duvet which felt unhygienic and spent last morning in bed quite chilly as I couldn’t get it back on or really want to touch the used oily duvet in this way without gloves.nnAnother minor detail is the temp of the room was tricky to control at times.nnThe breakfast looked super delicious and I hope to try next time. I have only heard great things. I have no appetite in the morning which is why I skipped this time around.nnAll in all, if there is a fix for the issue with the bedding, I would 100% come back. I am confident the hotel can easily find solutions for this and I enjoyed my stay overall and would consider at Six when I am back in Stockholm. Thanks again.nnHonorable mentions** the amazing speaker made every morning such a vibe! It was super easy to use.
Location is very convenient in central Stockholm.nnStaff on reception are mixed, some good service, some poor. Rooms feel a bit worn.nGym very well kitted out. Breakfast okay but not quite 5 star hotel level.nnOverall the hotel doesn’t feel particularly well managed.
Hotel at Six certainly has its highlights, but overall I felt that for the price, it’s about a 3.5 out of 5 experience.nnThe highlights:n- Service / reception: every staff member we encountered was gracious, warm and kind.n- Hotel gym: although modest in size, it was well equipped, clean and even when busy, did not feel crowded.n- Room size: we were in a suite which was a bit more spacious, particularly the bathroom which was well designed.nnNot-as-impressive:n- The suite had poor temperature regulation, we were unable to adjust anything the whole time.n- the bed was a bit too firm and it was also difficult to sleep due to the bedding being overly warm.n- breakfast, while well maintained, was a bit boring as it never changed during our week-long stay. It would be nice if they added variety to the hot dishes on different days.n- room service prices are steep: the portions of food were not worth the cost. Food was also over-salted.n- the view is just over a business park area, very bland.nnOverall I would say there’s nothing wrong but nothing amazing about the hotel. It’s also a bit more expensive than it should be, but given the good location I understand why it’s priced this way.
This was a flawless stay from start to finish. We had a 2 night stay booked through Amex which included breakfast and $100 credit which we used for wonderful cocktails in the main level wine bar. Check in was seamless and Maria at the front desk was very welcoming and informative. We loved our room - it was very thoughtfully designed, spotless and modern - as one might expect for Stockholm. The beds were so comfy and the bathroom was luxurious with a lovely bathtub. We appreciated the location of the hotel in the city center but be aware it is about 13 minutes to walk from the central train station which was a bit of a challenge with all our luggage. The breakfast was expansive and delicious - many choices for continental, Swedish, English and American style breakfast served in the large and airy restaurant. We had to leave early for the airport on our last day and the hotel served an express breakfast in the lobby with mini cardamon buns and excellent Swedish coffee. What a nice thoughtful touch.
Overall, the hotel itself was nice — the rooms were definitely on the smaller side, but they were clean, comfortable, and the beds were incredibly soft. The receptionists were amazing to talk to and genuinely helpful, offering great advice and making the stay feel welcoming from the moment we checked in. Breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant was also great and had us excited to return.nnBut dinner… that was the one part of the stay that completely tanked the experience. The hotel itself is lovely, but the dinner service is a major letdown. If you stay here, enjoy the rooms, enjoy breakfast, enjoy the staff — just skip dinner entirely.
