Hotel At Six

I had a phenomenal experience at the hotel, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Kathryn Mathews. She was incredibly insightful and made my travels much more enjoyable with her friendly and engaging conversation. Kathryn's attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile truly stood out, when she booked my cruise from Stockholm to Finland. My stay at Hotel At Six was love-hate. The hotel has a great location, very friendly staff, and an enviable breakfast buffet. However, there were some serious issues for me that would I wish I had known ahead of time. For one, the climate of my room was atrocious. It was LOADED with dust it literally snowed dust on my belongings. I could not crack a window and the room has no air conditioning, so on hot summer days I was overheated in a stuffy, dusty room and could barely sleep. Also, while the room is a great size, the design is dark and unappealing. It was honestly a depressing, cave-like aesthetic. Due to the aforementioned, it made me sad every time I needed to be in my room. Finally, the large Soviet-style plaza and narrow streets streets around the hotel meant frequent gridlock adding an extra 10-15 minutes onto cab rides just to get away from the hotel and I had to trek a far way to and from the lobby with my luggage with no help from the hotel. It was also often hard to get a hold of the front desk via phone and the service quality of the housekeeping staff declined during the duration of my stay. This place was just not for me ultimately.

Amazing hotel. This was my first time in Stockholm in several years after spending a lot of time here in the past. My first stay at At Six and everything was fantastic. The rooms, the staff, the decor, the food and bars. The whole vibe. Really great. I will definitely be back.

My family and I booked three rooms at this hotel via the Amex portal.nnPros: The location is great. The gym is ample and well-maintained. The staff is warm and friendly.nnCons: Rooms are dated. REALLY DATED.nnAt least one person in each room suffered from bed bugs.nnThe front desk staff is not well-trained on the perks of the Amex Fine Hotels program. We were given $100 hotel credit instead of $300 during our stay. I brought this up with a manager at check-out, but she didn't wasn't able to correct the situation right away. I did end up getting some credit back, but was not made whole by their error.

Spectacular hotel from all standpoints. Memorable restaurant rather pricey for dinner, excellent breakfast buffet, romantic wine bar. Nicely appointed rooms. Great service. No concierge, but the front desk people were amazing, engaging and helpful; directed us to a restaurant with the most authentic Swedish cuisine. Excellent wellness and fitness center.. Very close to an upscale shopping district and night life.
