The six hotel is my go to place in Stockholm. The location is truly unbeatable, with many of Stockholm's top museums, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a smooth stay.nnThe rooms were luxurious and remarkably quiet, providing a serene oasis in the heart of the city. The breakfast buffet was incredible, offering an impressive selection of delicious food that catered to all tastes.nnIf you're looking for a hotel that combines excellent location, top-notch amenities, and exceptional service, look no further than Hotel Six. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stockholm – I’ll definitely be back
At Six – stylish, central, and just a bit too darknnI’ve stayed at this hotel several times. It’s conveniently located in central Stockholm, within walking distance of most major attractions, shops, and restaurants.nnWhen you enter, you’re greeted by a large sculpture of a head in the lobby — a striking piece that immediately signals this isn’t your typical business hotel. There’s a curated, artistic feel to the space.nnThe front desk runs efficiently, though the vibe can feel a bit like an upscale airport hotel — polite, but somewhat impersonal.nnThe hallways are quite dark, and the rooms follow the same theme: spacious and beautifully furnished, but low-lit. If you prefer bright interiors, you might find it a bit dim. On the plus side, the beds are excellent, the linens are high-quality, and you’ll find all the expected comforts — a bathrobe, espresso machine, and well-designed amenities.nnBreakfast is very solid. Great variety of food, fresh orange juice, and — if you ask — a surprisingly good cappuccino. A small detail, but a memorable one
Still Love This Hotel, But Very Disappointed by Recent ExperiencennI’ve been a loyal guest at this hotel for years, returning time and again because of its beautiful design, reliable functionality, and overall charm. It’s a place I genuinely love and have recommended to friends and colleagues more times than I can count.nnHowever, during my most recent stay, I had a very frustrating experience that left a sour taste. I found myself without a power adapter—an easy fix, I assumed, at a hotel of this standard. After calling reception three times with no response, I went downstairs, only to be told by a trainee that because I’m English, they wouldn’t lend me an adapter. Instead, I was told it was “Coca-Cola policy” that adapters are only sold—at a hefty €16, nearly three times their standard cost—because Coca-Cola also sells drinks at inflated hotel prices. Yes, that was the logic given to me.nnI can’t express how disappointed I am that a hotel of this calibre would rather let a trainee turn away a repeat guest over something so minor—just to make a few extra euros. It’s not about the money. It’s about the principle. Hospitality should be about helping guests, not hiding behind baffling policies or upselling basics.nnI hope management takes this seriously. This hotel is truly excellent in so many ways, and I’d hate for others to have their experience diminished over something so avoidable.
We stayed in Stockholm for 4 nights at this hotel. The location is great as we were able to walk back and forth to the train station as well as the water and the other main areas. The hotel is done in a very tasteful way. It has a great bar area and the breakfast is very good as well. When we went to our room, I noticed the hallways were very dimly lit on top of which the walls are painted a dark grey! It was very strange given that the city doesn't get that much light to begin with so one would think, they would have everything light and airy. Our room was very nice but the only issue was that we were not able to control the thermostat. It was quite warm even though we had the temp at 16 degrees! That was a big complaint I had. Also the shower area was extremely small. I couldn't dry myself properly in the shower. Otherwise, it was a good place.
The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to many attractions and surrounded by shopping centers. However, the room was quite dim with limited lighting, and it was very dusty — I wasn’t sure if it had been properly cleaned. I had made two bookings: the first did not require a deposit, but the second one was charged a 1000 SEK deposit which wasn’t refunded until I contacted the hotel by email. The female receptionist was very polite and helpful, though the male staff were less professional.
