Downtown Camper by Scandic

My wife and I had a perfect stay here on our recent trip to Stockholm! I'm usually really picky with hotels, and this exceeded every expectation that I had. We were able to check in early, and our room was really spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel has a very cool explorer/outdoor traveler kind of theme to it and is really trendy. The staff was super helpful and friendly, and there are actually events every day which are available for free! I wound up doing a little walking tour to Gamla Stan which was very enjoyable. The Nest on the top floor was also a nice way to end our stay here, and it's discounted if you stay at the hotel.nnLocation is excellent - super close to public transportation and in a great spot for walking many places as well. I'm glad I stayed here and would pick it again!

I had an perfect stay with my fiance. The room was spacious, stylish, and super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a large variety of fresh options. I loved the friendly atmosphere and adventurous theme of the hotel. The location was unbeatable—right in the heart of the city. Highly recommend this hotel.

Well designed and fashionable hotel with lots going on. Rarely eat in hotel restaurant when there are so many other options close by, but a cold Sunday evening kept us in doors amd the hotel food was good as well. Breakfast also really good as you expect in Scandinavia.

Visiting from Canada stayed for 4 nightsnRooms were very small but manageable, we asked for no room service but they still came in the room to empty garbage, not a big deal but I specifically requested no services. The fridge didn't work in the room on day 1, we requested it to be fixed and it never got done. Not the biggest deal but I ate leftovers not realizing it was warm and could have been really sick from that.nLocation was amazing, I would book again for the location alone.nWe didn't take part in any of the events they had going on, they just didn't line up with our times.nnThey did change the dates for us when we had to rebook our trip for 2 weeks later, the service there was fantastic!nThank you to whoever did that!

I have travelled in many countries, including Sweden, but the price here is completely unacceptable for the level of service and attitude you receive. When we arrived, the window in our room was open and the room was actually colder than the corridor. I tried to adjust the temperature, but nothing happened – there was simply no heating.nnWhen I went to the reception, they told me to wait for it to warm up, even after I explained that the display only showed “standby” and wouldn’t turn on. I was offered an electric heater, but after waiting 2.5 hours, no one came. I went back again and finally received it about three hours later. Not once did the receptionist apologize or seem to care about the situation.nnThe spa is overpriced for its small size and must be booked in advance. Breakfast was good but poorly organized and chaotic, and it was difficult to find a place to sit. I also don’t understand why there’s a fireplace in the middle of the room – you could smell smoke several meters away during breakfast.nnGood location, but the hotel doesn’t have parking.
