Downtown Camper by Scandic

I had an perfect stay with my fiance. The room was spacious, stylish, and super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a large variety of fresh options. I loved the friendly atmosphere and adventurous theme of the hotel. The location was unbeatable—right in the heart of the city. Highly recommend this hotel.

Overall a good stay though a few items stop it from being 5*. Good was overall excellent service from a generally attentive and friendly staff. Well set up for business travel with a co-working space and lots of amenities including fitness centre, bar/restaurant and cafe. Breakfast was decent with good selection. Had one major issue on check in which was very disappointing but was satisfactorily resolved with a complementary upgrade the next day. Also, the rooms felt overall a little worn and could use a repaint and deep clean. Still, good location and would recommend for a work trip

Out of all the hotels I experienced during my stay at Stockholm, this wa by far the best hotel.nnAlthough the room ws too small for the amount I paid, i realized this how it is in the Scandinavian countries. By far this was the biggest room I had, other hotels did not even offer a window at that price.nnThe breakfast was the best part of the stay.nnThe hotel also provides lot's of activities.nnLocation of the hotel was also perfect. All the major shops and stations were a minutes walk.

I have travelled in many countries, including Sweden, but the price here is completely unacceptable for the level of service and attitude you receive. When we arrived, the window in our room was open and the room was actually colder than the corridor. I tried to adjust the temperature, but nothing happened – there was simply no heating.nnWhen I went to the reception, they told me to wait for it to warm up, even after I explained that the display only showed “standby” and wouldn’t turn on. I was offered an electric heater, but after waiting 2.5 hours, no one came. I went back again and finally received it about three hours later. Not once did the receptionist apologize or seem to care about the situation.nnThe spa is overpriced for its small size and must be booked in advance. Breakfast was good but poorly organized and chaotic, and it was difficult to find a place to sit. I also don’t understand why there’s a fireplace in the middle of the room – you could smell smoke several meters away during breakfast.nnGood location, but the hotel doesn’t have parking.

Great hotel, staff is very nice, room was tidy, good location, everything you need is just a few minutes away. But the mattress and pillows, just heaven! I haven’t had such a good sleep in a while. I wish I could take them home. The only thing I wish is that the doors canceled noise better; it was kinda loud in the morning when the cleaning service started their job.
