Scandic Continental

My partner and I decided to visit the rooftop bar for a drink, but the experience was absolutely appalling. From the start, no one bothered to provide us with a menu. When we politely asked the bartender for one, he threw it at us as if we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Despite there being only two other people ahead of us and two bartenders working, it took an absurd 10-15 minutes just to place an order. Apparently, handling the massive complexity of two drinks per person was beyond their capabilities. The inefficiency was astounding. To top it off, when we were asked for IDs and provided them we’re both in our mid-20s, the bartender had the audacity to shake his head at us, as though we’d done something wrong. His demeanour was downright rude and unprofessional, making us feel unwelcome and disrespected. I expected far better from a place like this. Instead, we were met with poor service, dismissive attitudes, and a lack of basic hospitality. Truly disappointing.

We had originally booked to stay at Scandic Go, however when we arrived there was an issue with our booking so they upgraded us to Scandic Continental for our entire stay. The staff organised everything including a taxi for us and we had no issues at all when we arrived at Continental, despite it being a last minute reservation at 2am.nnThe location was perfect - access to all the public transport and an easy walk to a lot of the popular locations.nnThe room was on floor 10 and had an amazing view of the city. It was clean, cosy and well stocked with tea and coffee. The breakfast included was a bonus - a great selection of hot food and pastries, cereals and fruit. We really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is wonderfully located, it is almost impossible to do better. On top of the train station, you can enter the metro easily.nIt is also quite for its location.nThe breakfast was a deception, the choice was limited for a hotel of this caliber. The different warm options were almost always empty. The buffet is just too small for the amount of people who are there.nnFor the room, I had a room without window. The inferior was dark and the light weak. The AC was not working enough so the humidity was staying from day to day.nnIn average not a good experience but definitely a convenient hotel

Excellent customer service!!! Breakfasts and Market Place were excellent as well. Gym is clean and complete. A real value. All the young ladies at the front desk were exceedingly polite and helpful!

Great place to stay. A few minutes away from the Central Train Station. Good service and friendly staff. Rooms are clean. We definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Stockholm. The view on the top of the hotel was fantastic. Special mentioned to Lorna who takes good care of our stay.
