Sheraton Stockholm Hotel

In view of works, requested quiet room inner lower floor. Works ongoing upstairs and next door. Renovated room was nice and bed v. comfortable. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable. The lounge needs a serious rethink... dark space with ping pong table?? The lack of a concierge for 5 nights was inconvenient. The location is very good for the station and old town.

Had an excellent stay here for a 4 night vacation. Excellent location, excellent room size, very clean and good amenities.nnSpecial shout out to the bar tenders in the lobby bar Michel, Tomas, Ebo and Tiago that had excellent recommendations for the local area and were friendly faces and conversation after long days of walking and touring. They all made our stay here extra special!nnHighly recommend Sheraton Stockholm.

Excellent location in downtown Stockholm. Unfortunately the praise ends there. This is an older property that’s overpriced for all the reward points loyalists like myself. I requested a quiet room and got a room right next to the road on the second lowest floor with a window that let all sound in - even as a platinum member. The next day they switched rooms with better results. That said the hotel is dated and many issues with the room. I am told they are updating the rooms but I would still stay elsewhere even if you don’t earn points. The Internet was also really bad and I had to buy extra mobile data as it could not be relied on for basic video calls.

However, there is a bit of room for improvement in this area. Including fresh juice, smoked salmon, or omelets would significantly enhance the breakfast experience and provide guests with a more luxurious start to their day.

Overall, comfortable stay. Used online checkin and room was ready upon arrival. Room was spacious and cleaned upon entry. A little dated, but comfy. Loved the bathtub. Liked the no housekeeping reward points. Noise from construction outside annoying, but only happened during normal work hours and nothing on weekend. Location is okay. Central station about a six minute walk, and Gamla Stan within a 10 minute walk. Plenty of resuturants within walking distance. Hotel breakfast very filling and hours are reasonable. In room dining options were okay and food was edible. Customer service was phenomenal.
