Thon Partner Hotel Kungsbron

Not sure where all the good ratings on other booking platforms stem from. We booked a window-less room, as, in my experience, you would at least have AC in the room. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. According to the front desk, the ventilation only located in the bathroom, so the bathroom door will need to be opendend during the night is controlled centrally. Leading to really stuffy, warm rooms at night. Additionally, the beds are either just very soft, or also pretty worn. For the price paid per night, I do not think this hotel is worth its downsides.nThe location is great for exploring the city, or catching the train. Also, breakfast was very good, something we did not expect after enduring our first night.

Great location by the station, very nice lady let me check in early. Got a room without a window and wondered how it'd be, turns out it's great, turn the lights out and it's pitch black. Quiet too, especially after I unplugged the refrigerator. Room is a little cold but the comforter was warm. Great breakfast, easily accessible stairs, easily accessible HDMI port on the TV. Also convenient is there is a door on Kungsbron that leads to an elevator directly to the Arlanda Express platform, so the walk from the hotel to the train is only 3-4 minutes.

If you’re looking for a hotel in central Stockholm where you’re likely to get the worst night’s sleep of your trip, Thon Hotel Kungsbron may be it.nnI’ve stayed at Thon hotels in Norway and had great experiences, so I was was looking forward to this stay. Unfortunately, it was the complete opposite.nnLike many other reviewers have mentioned, we were assigned an interior room with no window. The room was extremely warm, and the lack of air circulation made it nearly impossible to sleep. We tossed and turned all night.nnThe next morning, I spoke with the front desk about cancelling our second night. They referred me to the manager, who was out of the office that day. Despite being told I would hear back, I never received a response. The staff did move us to a different room across the hall, which initially seemed better, but by bedtime we experienced the same issue. The result was two consecutive nights of miserable sleep.nnI feel bad for the hotel staff because they are clearly dealing with a problem that is beyond their control. During our stay, we overheard several other guests discussing how hot and uncomfortable their rooms were. This doesn’t seem like an isolated complaint.nnThe location is convenient, but a hotel’s primary job is to provide a comfortable place to sleep. Until the ventilation and temperature issues are addressed, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

This hotel was excellent, we booked the room with a sauna which was fun and worked really well. Breakfast was excellent. They are showing the world cup in the bar area, which is part of the relaxed open area. Don't let the outside put you off, once inside it's an oasis. Great position and close to public transport

Best place ever, centrally located, very close to the central station, a lot of restaurants and bars around. Shops were really close too.nnRooms are small but comfy with ownnPrivate bathroom, tv and mini fridge.nnThey can storage your luggage during check out times and also you can check out late for 100 SEK/hour which is a really affordable price.nnBreakfast is top notch food, a lot of fresh options, savory and sweet food.nnLove the place definitely will visit this place again. Highly recommended
