Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel, Stockholm

We arrived before lunch and were able to check in already. Anders in the reception was super sweet and the check-in experience was smooth.nnWe got the Premium room, which was an upgrade, but we are most often upgraded to much higher category, as I am a VIP member. Also, nothing was waiting for us in the room, nor did it arrive later. A handwritten note is such a low effort but a nice touch, so we were a tad disappointed.nnBesides this, the room was clean and spacious. A tub would have been nice.nnBreakfast buffet was great and had more options than many others in Scandinavia.nnThe hotel lobby and hotel’s atmosphere as such was very nice, inviting, and modern. The location is great, right next to the central station and within walking distance to most spots in the city.nnWe wouldn’t hesitate coming back :

Well located business hotel next to Stockholm Central Station. Easy getting about and well located to old town, museums and shopping district. The hotel staff are excellent. Lovely dining area for breakfast on the 1st floor. Reasonably priced and well appointed rooms.

Very nice hotel! We liked it a lot and it’s one of the only places in Stockholm where I felt truly happy and at home. The ambiance and service were excellent, making our stay very comfortable. Compared to the Sheraton, this place takes it by a billion light stars. Lovely hotel, centrally located but air conditioning in rooms needs attention. Both nights no matter what temperature I set the room too, 18 deg. It would automatically go back to 21 after one hour and start pumping out heat I could not override this which led to two nights of continuously interrupted uncomfortable stuffy sleep. Others in our group had similar issues.nnGuests should be able to set their desired room temperature for their stay,nnI would not stay here again.

Lovely room and Chris at the reception was very friendly and knowledgeable. Gave us a good route to walk so you can get a good look at all of Stockholm. Would stay here again.nnIt is near the central station also and a 5 minute walk from Arlanda Express. Good location, however being near the centre it was a little loud at night - nothing that distracted me though.
