Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel, Stockholm

We were so elated that the hotel was so close to everything!! The staff was friendly and very helpful!nI highly recommend adding the breakfast! If you add it to every morning there’s a discount. The coffee there put it over the top! Delicious!nWe loved our room! It had so much space and the tub was so relaxing! We had a wonderful stay here!

Loved coming here on my vacation from the US with my family! Wonderful staff and cute rooms. The only downside was the bathtub/showers were high walled, making it difficult to get in and out of easily with nothing to really hold onto as you get out. But everything else was great! Just remember to bring your own wash cloths as they mainly have towels and mats.

It's a great hotel in an excellent location. It's right next to the central station which has train service direct to/from the airport. It's of walking distance to old town. It's also close to a lot of restaurants and malls.nnRooms were spacious and around a 9 out of 10 in cleanliness. Bathrooms were pretty clean however. Shower had nice water pressure. The trash bin that was provided was very unstable though as it was hard to open without it potentially tumbling down. Soundproofing was also excellent.nnStaff were nice and professional. Check-in/Check-out/Member upgrades were quick and efficient.

Perfect location. Nice check in. Very large premium room. Lots of space. View towards the atrium - but that ensures you are not disturbed by street noise. Breakfast buffet is good - the breakfast room though a bit crowded.nReturned for 2 more nights and this time I got an upgrade to a room with lake view and huge bathroom. Good sleep. Comfortable bed and a very clean and quiet room. An incident with water dripping from the ceiling was quickly fixed.

I am currently staying at the hotel. The location and overall atmosphere are nice, but there are some serious issues. The bathroom is a big disappointment: the shower barely drips water, making it impossible to take a proper shower, and the floor is extremely slippery , I almost fell several times. I honestly did not expect this kind of experience from a hotel with such a well-known name.nnIn addition, while I completely understand that the SPA experience should be charged separately, I was very surprised that even the hotel’s swimming pool requires an extra fee for guests. In most hotels, pool access is included for staying guests, and I think charging for it is very disappointing.
