Stayed from Thursday to Monday.nnI am extremely disappointed with this hotel. For 110£ per night, the overall experience is far below expectations and does not reflect the price paid.nnThe hotel is currently under renovation, including the restaurant and outdoor areas, which was not clearly communicated when booking. The front of the hotel looks like a construction site, with barriers and materials, which negatively affects the stay.nnThe restaurant is closed, forcing guests to go into town for food every day. This was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel.nnThe room is very small, basic and outdated, and does not match the photos shown online. The furniture is old, worn and poorly maintained.nnThere are no coffee or tea facilities in the room. Instead, there is a shared coffee area on the corridor, which is not clean and poorly maintained.nnOther facilities, such as ironing equipment, are left on the corridor, giving the impression of an unorganized and low-standard service.nnThe bathroom is clean but extremely simple, more like budget accommodation.nnOverall, this hotel is overpriced and misleading. Important information about renovations and unavailable services is not properly communicated, and the actual conditions do not match the advertised photos. I would not recommend this hotel in its current conditio.nnUpdate: After posting this review, the hotel contacted me and offered a complimentary dinner and taxi. I appreciate the gesture and their effort to address the situation.

Stayed one night for business. Easy access from the bus station, wonderful view over the harbour and accommodating staff. Clean and well furnished room, not overfilled with unnecessary furniture or decorations but very tasteful Scandinavian decor.nFor a small beautiful harbour area, it had plenty of excellent choices of restaurants. The hotel restaurant had a small selection of high quality well prepared dishes.nIf you're in this area and looking for that something extra, I highly recommend this hotel.

We spent the weekend at the hotel from Friday to Sunday, two nights. Me, my wife, our child, and the dog.nnThe first night we all slept poorly and started coughing and sneezing.nWe spent the next day outdoors and felt fine again.nnThe second night, we all had severe reactions, coughing, trouble breathing.nClearly an allergic reaction to the dust in the room.nnWhen checking out, we gave our feedback directly to the manager.nNo apology, just a list of explanations:nn- It is a dog room, so they are more dusty.n- It is an older room, not yet renovated.n- A construction worker stayed there the week before and maybe brought in dust.nnWe have stayed in many dog rooms before. They are not always spotless, sure.nBut never in such terrible condition that we all got such reactions.nnAnd the reaction of the manager to our report, just terrible.
