A very nice location with great service and high standards overall. Small SPA but very likable as pool overlooks the golf course and everything is fresh and new. Three saunas inside and close proximity to rooms and facilities. Food is strong and solid but the wine list is even more strong and solid and the Sommelier is great. A vast selection of wines, with 90% on glass, is rare and something to reward.
Good location, nice views. The pool is more of big jacuzzi as it can not really be swim on.nnunfortunately the some of the staff we interacted with was quite rude although masked with a “nice tone”.nThe fact that everything needs to be scheduled ahead and for short time frames food, using the pool, bikes… make it feel less of relaxing vacation rather running to appointments.nnA place clearly not at all accessible for wheelchairs, there is at least a step to every single amenity bathroom, wetzones, outdoor dinning.nnRoom had spiderwebs in the nice chandeliers, dirty cups from the previous were left behind both in the room and on the deck. Showing that it clearly wasn’t been cleaned properly.
Classic high strandard hotel with good customer service and beautiful location. Good breakfast. With early departure the breakfast was done ready for us. Thank you.
We picked this hotel for a weekend getaway as it was just 30mins and has spa facilities. Overall ok for an overnight stay but somehow missing the warm local touch.nnThis manor-styled hotel is in the countryside right next to a golf course and a horse riding school. Getting here by car is easy but public transport is limited and the journey can be long.nnROOM nThey are under going a renovation. There was no disturbance when we were here and we got to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms. The room and bath were new and fresh. The bed and pillows comfortable and clean. The room was well lit and cosy. Only dislike is that despite having a smart TV, there was a lack of channels and the internet in the device was not connected. In fall when there is a limit to outdoor activities and not many other things to do after dinner, it would have been nice to be able to enjoy some TV programmes.nnSPA nThe spa experience at 295 SEK per person was ok. It is a small spa with 2 saunas, a steam room and a heated outdoor pool that doubles as a jacuzzi. The best experience was the outdoor pool. It was small but has a view of the golf course but the seating was comfortable, enabling you to be submerged just up to the neck. Drinks can be bought at the reception and brought in. The downside were the lukewarm saunas and the steam goes cold at intervals.nnFOOD AND DRINKS nnAbout Dinner,nHere's perhaps the weaker side of this hotel. The rose wine featured on the drinks menu was not available and the white wine recommended was not chilled properly despite confirmation from the staff who attended our table.nn- Högrevsburgare was good. The bread was nicely tossed and the beef patty gourmet. This was a big burger with balanced seasoning and fresh crisp vegetables. Unfortunately the fries were a mix of hard and soggy nn- Regnbåge . Worth ordering this main of butterfried rainbow trout. It was fresh and sweet and went well with the dill baked artichokes, kale, trout roe and sorrel paste. The sauce infused with Karl Johan mushroom essence gave the dish a nice aroma. The serving is medium sized and filling.nn- Räksmörgås is a starter of small salty slightly dry prawns. Edible but not the best quality and on a too hard brown bread.nnThe restaurant is simple but spacious.nnAbout Breakfast,nThis was a better experience . Simple Nordic styled buffet. Fresh and a weekend treat.nnCoffee was a traditional Swedish styled drip using a dark full-bodied roast. Good tasting.nnThe breakfast has a variety of freshly baked breads, charcuterie, pancakes, yogurt and cereal. There is a small gluten free section.
Really nice conference center. Spacious rooms, great service, and wonderful surroundings. I was there for two days on a company retreat, and it really felt like we could disconnect and focus on our discussions. The restaurant is excellent, and so is the SPA. Would love to come here again!
