Quality Hotel Winn, Haninge

Very good place to stay with children and for couples. Near the hotel, you will find a huge lake with walking trails, rest areas, and playing cards. Also, near the hotel, you will find train and bus stations. Communication with Stockholm or other cities is very simple.

My family always stays here whenever they come visiting and we would pay to have breakfast with them even though we don’t stay in the hotel. But this morning I experienced such rude treatment from a waiter in the restaurant that I don’t ever want to go back there anymore. Because we have an active toddler who can’t sit still for 5 minutes I was walking around with him instead of eating breakfast. When it was finally my turn to eat, I had less than 10 minutes because of an appointment so I made two extra sandwiches to go. A waiter came to stop me from packing the sandwiches saying that I either have to pay for them or leave them but I’m not allowed to pack the food away. “We don’t do that in Sweden” she said. It’s so rudely said. Sorry Winn, we even get take away boxes from eating breakfast at other hotels.

Was ideal for a budget friendly, 3 night stay without paying the city prices. Within 6-7 minute walking distance of the local train station and only about 3 minutes to the bus station. It has a beautiful, relaxing lobby which is lively at nighttime. The beds are comfy however the tv is placed in one position that cannot be viewed comfortably from the bed. I didn’t like having two single beds with two single duvets when we were staying as a couple.nI must admit as a couple from England, we really struggled with the breakfast options. We barely ate all three mornings as we felt there weren’t any basic items that you would normally find anywhere in the world such as milk for the cereal and options for toast. There were barely any pastries, again, another common item in most hotels. The cooked options were nothing we had come across before apart from the scrambled egg. We unfortunately walked out very hungry each morning, great coffee though!nLastly, staff were all friendly and there’s a nice walk behind the hotel around the lakes which is easily accessible.

Very happy with this hotel. Fairly new and fresh. Breakfast had vegan options ask staff, they have a lot of things. Good service, super helpful and accommodating. It’s also located right next to a train station that goes right into Stockholm central station.

We booked this hotel through LoveHoliday's for £600 for 3 nights with Breakfast, Flights' included! We get to the hotel which was a 5 minute walk from the train station! 20 minutes from the town centre as well. Lovely little cosy rooms with space to hang wet clothes from the snow! You are right next to a nature reserve which we explored while playing in the snow! Loads of trails to explore with the ski school right next to it! Its also a less then a mile walk to the food mall with all sorts of shops, restaurants etc. The Breakfast is the best part though! Pancakes, Waffles, cold meats, cheeses, bacon or bread, Incredible selection! We were sad to leave but we will return one day.
