A well preserved, but old hotel. WiFi doesn’t work even in the close by the reception rooms. The restaurant’s employees were not friendly at all.

Noisy due to loud industrial-grade ventilation in the backyard no open windows possible + allowed pets = barking dog of other guest, super-thin walls + live music until 22.30 h on a weekdaynnNo comfort in room, loud doors, unpleasant view of rooms not facing to the sea

One of the best Hotels I have stayed at and visited. Very comfortable rooms with an excellent food menu and there is no better way than to spend a sunny afternoon sipping on a good wine and watching the boats go by. Strongly recommend on you visit to Stockholm's beutifull islands. Just a short boat ride from Central Stockholm

Right by the quay where almost all of the island ferries stop. This hotel has a long and distinguished history. A welcoming team quickly greeted us and checked us in. Rooms overlooking the harbour are twice the size of those at the back, but all are comfortable and well equipped.nBreakfast was served in the magnificent dining room again with fabulous views. The food was great with an almost endless choice.

The location is the best in all of Vaxholm. Clean rooms with a vintage feel, after all it's an old hotel. Service was splendid and the food we ordered the three course dining experience was tasty and beautifully plated. The only minor drawback to me was the breakfast. There weren't that much to choose from – there were more simple, standard stuff – as you'd expect from the price of the stay.
