Hilton Stockholm Slussen

What a great hotel! Very close to the train / bus station in Slussen, and also a short walk into the city. The rooms are very nice and the view of the city is stunning. Service was great - everyone we interacted with was polite and understanding. They even gave us access to the executive lounge when they weren’t able to check us in early.

The view was great out the third floor. The room was nicely set up with comfortable furniture. If I could change a few things I would have darker black out curtains for the summer months as the sun doesn't really go down and comes back up very early. I would also find a way to turn off or tone down the HVAC light. It is so bright but if you cover it I believe you lose the air circulation as it might be motion activated but I'm not sure. The bathroom was also nice, spacious, almost instant hot water. I would have liked a bit more water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was okay. They seat the diamond members up on a platform which feels very odd, like you are on display. Plus the steps up to it are narrow and no railing and if you're tall there is low clearance on that platform at the stairs. We were never offered coffee or tea when we sat for breakfast, which was disappointing. The variety of food was good, I'm sure there was something for all tastes.

The only saving grace to this hotel is the location. Otherwise it's old and grimy and they're doing construction within the building right now, so it's extremely noisy. Don't stay here! Plenty of better spaces to enjoy within Stockholm!

Beautiful hotel in a great location, a bit hard to get to when driving and 450sek is probably on the lower end of secured parking in this area of Stockholm.nnThe rooms are splendid, my room is quite small but beautifully presented and decorated and the added bonus of having a bath tub to relax in.nnThere is also a gym that is very well equipped with plenty of machines to choose from, also attached to the gym is the changing rooms and sauna and it was great.nnLastly the staff here are supper nice very professional, hats off to the whole team

Definitely a 4.5. I found the location to be very convenient. The service and the staff were very helpful. I enjoyed a well stocked and well run breakfast every morning with great selections and an omelet station. My room had an unforgettable view of Gamla Stan. My room was comfortable with good climate controls and nice features. It was on the smaller side but very nice. I was on the same floor as the executive lounge and that was convenient. I found the bathroom small and awkward with a big tub that was hard to get in and out of. I would have preferred a walk in shower, but that was a small problem. The marble floors in the bathroom appear to be heated which was nice. I would stay here again just for the view.
