Hilton Stockholm Slussen

Definitely mixed feelings during my stay. Positive things good location, with a metro station near the hotel. Enjoyed also the very friendly staff in the executive lounge, which tried to be helpful with my issues, good breakfast buffet, also enjoyed that one. Room are older, had constant issues with temperatures, first too cold, unfortunately two small duvets instead one big did not help either, at the end it was too warm, after I reported it three times issues with temperature. WIFI was really miserable, extremely slow, the room with view had a nice view, but is just above a road, so lower floor means more noise. The big miss was the arrival, and I felt to be treated poorly at checkin. My room was given oh we provided you with a beautiful room with room like it was a free upgrade, but I paid for it. They were unwilling to provide a free upgrade, saying we if we can't sell we keep it empty. Checked over the next two days and it was all the time bookable. Also the perks of the status like free water was offered that it was a nice gesture. There was ask for a credit card, followed by comment, oh sorry, we had that card in our system already. And lastly, the key room cars were provided in a lower status envelope. Positive the other person offered a higher floor room, further away from the road, after I told them I don't like that room with so much noise.

We had two nights there, and wished we had more time. The hotel is in the perfect location nearby all the city center activities. The front desk staff was awesome, especially both Maria who were very professional and friendly.nnOur room on the 5th floor was incredible! The views from the balcony were just breathtaking, with a panoramic views of the old town. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and we had all amenities necessary for a great stay. The sauna was also a nice addition! Phenomenal stay!

We stayed as Diamond guests to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and were upgraded to a Junior Suite, which was a lovely surprise. We had lunch at the restaurant and dinner at the bar—both with excellent service. The lunch promotion menu was great value, only SEK 199 for a main course. The hotel is very well located, just a 3–4 minute walk from Slussen metro station and about 10 minutes’ walk to the Old Town. Highly recommended.

This is the best Hilton I’ve stayed at, on par with any 5-star level of service. I’ve probably stayed at over 20 Hiltons across the world and truly, the staff here are exceptional. I stayed a few nights and the front desk staff were keen to remember my name after just interacting one time before. The breakfast staff are also incredibly hospitable. I also had a minor question with the room, and the staff almost immediately brought up a space heater and extra blanket, despite it being like 1 AM. Then, the front desk staff and breakfast staff, on multiple accounts, checked in with me regarding if my question was addressed. I unfortunately didn’t get the name of everyone who has assisted me, but they are truly exceptional and their pride and care in their work shows.nnThe rooms are great too. Clean, quiet with an amazing location like a few minute walk from the subway, and rooms have a nice Scandinavian design.nnWhatever this Hilton Stockholm Slussen is doing, they are doing it right. I wish every Hilton I stayed at was so amazing.

Our room looks a bit old, but it was clean enough, and the view was really beautiful.nThere are many chairs and tables in the lobby, so you can work or study there, or just chill.nThere are not many amenities—only towels, slippers, and bathrobes were provided. This is pretty standard in Europe, so make sure to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
