Hotel Rival

Everything was wonderful. Front desk staff Michelle, Joel, Mailin, and others, made us feel welcome and appreciated. They provided restaurant recommendations and reservations we really appreciate. The room, and the bed were very comfortable.nnThe included breakfast is the best hotel breakfast we have ever had, and staff there were great too. Such wonderfully curated and excellently prepared choices.nnAny future visits to Stockholm will include a stay at Hotel Rival.

We LOVED this hotel and were so glad we stayed here rather than the north part of Stockholm, which we were considering. Location was amazing--a quiet and authentic part of Stockholm but a very close walk to metro stations and other areas of interest. Beds were so comfortable and shower pressure was amazing. The made-to-order items at breakfast were so good we had breakfast there every day which we ordinarily wouldn't do, and staff were so courteous & welcoming. It's just a gorgeous, historic hotel. Would stay here again for sure!

Great hotel! Really helpful staff, lovely room, and a convenient location a very short walk from the nearest Mariatorget metro exit. Nice views over Mariatorget itself if you're on that side, and close to the Mariaberget viewpoint which is well worth a wander to. Good breakfast too. Will definitely stay again if/when back in Stockholm, would highly recommend.

We spent almost a month touring Scandinavia and this was our favourite hotel, by far. The rooms were lovely with comfortable beds, and beautiful balconies overlooking the park. The hotel served delicious breakfasts, had a relaxing street level cafe, and offered rental bikes. The neighbourhood had no traffic noise, but was full of street life and wonderful restaurants. The staff were helpful and cheerful. Just a delightful place to stay!

Excellent hotel. Staff was welcoming and efficient, location was perfect and room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and were able to walk to Gamla Stan as well . We ate at the hotel two evenings and found the food well prepared and delicious. We especially enjoyed the fish fry special on Thursday evening. No complaints….we would definitely stay here again!
