Zinkensdamm Hotell & Vandrarhem

Visiting family and staying a couple of nights before flying home to Vancouver Island. Couldn't find a better hotel and restaurant in a quiet location close to a park if you tried. The room and bathroom are excellent and freshly renovated. The food is organic and locally sourced. The dinner menu offers classic Swedish dishes for every taste. The organic cider from Skåne is very good. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. The raspberry and chia compot to mix in the organic yoghurt was delicious along with adding other seeds and fruits. The charcuterie offered was excellent as was all the usual cooked items. If anyone knows where else you will get a fresh baked mini croissant, please let me know. On top of it all the staff welcoming , courtious and efficient. They are superb! If there was 6 star rating they would get it.

We stayed at Zinkensdamm Hotell & Vandrarhem with our family for around 3 days during our trip to Stockholm, and we had a very pleasant experience. The hostel is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable for families as well. The common amenities like kitchen/common areas are good and convenient for guests.nnThe location is also excellent—the nearest metro station, Zinkensdamm, is just a short walk away, making it very easy to explore Stockholm. If you want to experience staying in a hostel while still enjoying comfort and cleanliness, this is definitely a must-stay place. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Zinkensdamm Hotel and would happily stay here again, especially as a family.nnThe rooms are on the smaller side, but they are well-designed and completely functional. While there are no traditional closets, the open-air hanging and storage area worked well for our luggage and clothing during our stay.nnOne of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its family-friendly amenities. The guest kitchens were incredibly useful, and the extra guest restrooms throughout the property were a great convenience when traveling with children. We also absolutely loved having access to the laundry room, which made a longer trip much easier and more comfortable.nnThe breakfast buffet was excellent, with hot items and a wide variety of choices every morning. It was a great way to start each day exploring Stockholm.nnThe location is fantastic, situated next to a beautiful park and within walking distance of Tanto Mindre, where we enjoyed the charming little huts, colorful flower gardens, and relaxing atmosphere. It felt like a peaceful escape while still being close to everything.nnThe hideaway bunk beds were small, but surprisingly comfortable, and our kids loved having their own cozy sleeping space.nnOverall, Zinkensdamm Hotel offers great value, excellent amenities, a beautiful location, and a welcoming atmosphere for families. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Stockholm.

Me and my class visited Sweden the first time ever during our class trip in June. First, I actually had no expectations about Sweden at all but when we arrived, I was positively impressed. The personal at the hotel in Zinksendamm was very nice and always there for the guests. The rooms were clean and pretty nice. They were a bit small and we couldn’t really open the big window but that was okay. Also next to the hostel was also a really big and great park with a lot of opportunities to spend your time in! Mini golf, Outdoor gym and so on…Also the hostel is near a supermarket and the water. All was great and I can really recommend for anyone!

A very nice, quiet, affordable and comfortable hotel that's convenient to the city center. It has a park-like setting that's quiet and soothing. The staff is tremendous and breakfast is superb. If you're looking for a pretentious place to stay, don't come here and be prepared to pay three times or more as much.
