Zinkensdamm Hotell & Vandrarhem

The Zinkensdamm hostel is a retro jewel, perfect for families and budget travellers.n.nThey have all you need, from kitchen and laundry to sauna, bikes or even umbrellas for a bad weather.n.nThe rooms are simple but clean.nI liked the somewhat aged but also solid genius loci.n.nThe staff is fantastic. They speak English and accept cards.n.nBonus points?n- nested in a lovely park.n- near public transport and direct line from the Airport.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and nice rooms and showers. We especially liked that we were able to choose between the hotel and the hostel breakfast, and both had vegan options included. Park with a nice playground and cool little rocky hill right outside.

Rooms are small and minimalist. Although the old hostel configuration of 6 people to a room is gone just be aware this room will be smaller than your average hotel room. That being said you really can't go wrong staying here. Bring your own sheets and food if you want, or rent sheets and eat meals in their restaurant or coffee shop.

The rooms are comfortable but the bathrooms are run down and need updating. The staff are nice. The location is both good and bad. Good because it is in a nice quiet family neighborhood with access to a swimming beach and a short walk to a fun high street with bars, restaurants and more. But the location is far from other parts of the city and public transit options are not great. Amenities include kitchen and common spaces.

Reception Staff was very cooperative & helpful.nWe booked room with single double bed and 2 bunk beds with Bathroom.nRoom are old, but clean and big enough. Breakfast is good for both Veg , Nonveg & few Vegan options too.nPark & riverside, local restaurants, also the public transports are available in 10-15 minutes walk.
