Zinkensdamm Hotell & Vandrarhem

My friend and I stayed in this very convenient hostel for our visit to Stockholm, it is only a short walk away from the metro! The room was clean and the two of us were able to share a room for four, so we had plenty of space and the bathrooms were just outside the room so we didn't have to walk far! The communal areas were very nice and the place was generally very peaceful. The two of us had a lovely stay here, would recommend to others visiting Stockholm.

This hotel is an ideal, calm, peaceful and refreshing accommodation and refuge. Our 1-week stay here was a highlight of our tourist experience in Scandinavia. The location was very convenient for access to public transit, with quick connection to all other areas of Stockholm. We enjoyed daily walks in the surrounding parks and beautiful green spaces, especially the large areas dedicated to allotment gardens. Hotel staff were well organized and friendly. The breakfast offerings were comprehensive and substantial; we especially appreciated the fresh fruit salad and a homemade granola that was among the best we have encountered anywhere. The hotel and hostel were very busy but handily managed several large groups of students and sports fans, while still maintaining a restful environment. The restaurant menu was small but provided excellent quality at reasonable prices, and catered to folks of all ages. The attached sunny outdoor patio was a comfortable space for enjoying meals and also beverages from the bar.

The rooms got everything you need with pretty average standard, but they are very roomy and bright from the windows which is a bonus.nnThe breakfast has all the standard hotel breakfast options, but are pricey and not worth it if you are not a guest of the hotell.

It's a very quiet and beautiful place. Staff is very polite and helpful. They have a big guest kitchen, neat and clean, dining area for guest as well.

The rooms are very cramped with thin mattresses but it is next to a nice park for kids
