Great location close to the city centre for a reasonable price. The rooms are small but cozy. Some other reviews didn't like the beds but I slept very well.nThe only downside is that there is no sound isolation. You can hear everything from your neighbors, upstairs, the bathrooms. Don't expect to sleep in. It gets loud at 8am when breakfast starts.
I was coming solo for 2 days on vacation to Stockholm and I needed a hotel that was not too expensive. Compared to other hotels in the area, the price is very reasonable and I did not regret my choice.nOn the other hand, if you are looking for privacy and tranquility, this is not really the place. The walls are light and the shared toilets and showers can disturb some people.nI was still satisfied for the price as a solo traveler.
My stay at this hotel was beyond my expectations. The room was bigger than expected; since I stayed alone, it felt quite spacious. The view from my window overlooked Gamla Stan, and it was absolutely beautiful! There were 3 or 4 showers on the floor where I stayed, as well as 2 toilets for men and 2 for women. The hotel also had a kitchen. Additionally, outside the boat, there were tables where you could enjoy the view, especially during sunset. It was definitely worth staying there!
Plus: the location, the view, the boat atmospherennMinus: IMO very uncomfortable beds, I was in a cabin with shared bathroom with 2 bunk beds, the lower one had a big shallow area in the center and I woke up the next day with pain everywhere, the upper one was a bit better.nNo sound insulation, I had the privilege to enjoy my neighbours' conversation from 10pm to 1am nonstop, thanks as if they were sitting in my room.nSafety: I did not feel very safe there, the deck is open for anybody to come in almost, as fishermen are coming in and out freely and the boat door stays blocked open until late at night why I don't know.nnMy recommendation: better locking system for the main door and main door to stay closed at all times. Signs that people have to try to respect quiet times from 10pm. Obviously most customers have no issues speaking loud at midnight plus and get back to their room in the most possible noisy way...nAlso better mattresses...nnI felt like I had similar comfort as in a camping except that a camping night costs less than 20€. To me this place is overpriced for what it is. I regretted not to have paid a little more for a hotel with private bathroom and decent mattress. I will not go there again.
The food here is rather underrated and I don’t see people mentioning it. But, if you want an authentic Thai food, this is by far of the best Asia food I had. I’m asian, take my words for it. It is a pity that it’s not that cheap, otherwise, strongly recommended!
