Scandic Sjöfartshotellet

This is my second time staying here and I greatly enjoyed it. The location is fantastic, breakfast is good, and the staff was very kind. They also have pet friendly rooms where they provide a water bowl, treats, and poo bags. Love it.

Location wise it is centrally situated, the rooms are much better than anywhere in Europe at this price point, and spacious with retractable bunk beds that are extra, very clean. The hotel staff is very courteous specially the nice lady at the reception whose name I should have asked. If you confused on a good room for you and family, go for this.

Large clean rooms. Plenty of options in the breakfast buffet. Location is a bit further from central station but it's close to the Slussen ferry for transport to Vasa/Nordic/Skansen museum.

One of the worst customer service I have experienced. Policies are not consistent. The receptionist whose name is Phillip was extremely rude and said to me and my group to go back to our country UK. We was forced to check out on our second night. Would not recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and did not really enjoy our stay. At first, everything seemed fine, for an extra fee, we were even able to check in early we arrived around 8 am. However, our relief quickly turned into disgust when we later spotted a bedbug on the curtain. Minutes later, we saw another one on a painting, as well as a couple of other insects flying around moths?nnSince it was already late at night, we decided to stay in the room anyway. Because either way, once we got home we had to take measures to prevent bedbugs from spreading into our apartment The next morning, when checking out, we informed the receptionist about the bedbugs. She didn’t seem surprised at all, which made it seem like this wasn’t a new issue. We offered to show her the photos and videos we had taken as evidence, but she refused. She only said that housekeeping would check the room and that they would contact us later.nnWe left, but they never got in touch, and we received no refund or compensation whatsoever.nnWould not recommend, unless you’re a bug enthusiast.
