Just come home from a week’s stay at this hotel and had the best time. I was staying with my Mum and we had two rooms. Both were clean, warm, and had everything we needed. Only thing I could say is they were a little dated and could perhaps enjoy a refresh.nnThe hotel had a really lovely feel and welcoming staff. A special thanks to Jack on the bar for being so attentive and creative with off-menu drinks and local suggestions. He’s a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was top tier; it had the biggest selection I’ve ever seen at a hotel buffet.nnThe Vana Spa was a lovely place to unwind. Entry was a little pricey as a guest of the hotel, but is wavered if you purchase a spa treatment and made the whole thing more reasonable. The Bishop’s Arms pub and Italian restaurant attached to the hotel were both nice too and we frequented both on different nights.nnWe had hired a car and did get a parking ticket one night parking on the street, our fault, so just be careful of the on-street signage and be aware of the rules as this is a cheaper parking option. The EasyPark app was really good.nnOverall, highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again, or at their other locations in Sweden.
It was overall a pretty nice stay, the staffs were very friendly and the room was neat and tidy. The breakfast was especially great, lots of nutritious and delicious options. However there was a few flaws for example we stayed on the 7th floor and there was no smart tv, however there were rooms with smart tvs on the 5th and 6th floor with the same price, that feels a bit unfair especially since there was no price difference. And the location was pretty good but still a bit of a walk from the main area. But overall great value.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Elite Palace Hotel in Stockholm. The hotel offers a great balance of comfort and convenience. The location is excellent – close to the city center, with easy access to public transport, yet set in a quiet area that allows for a good night’s rest.nnThe service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with recommendations or arrangements. From check-in to check-out, everything felt smooth and well taken care of.nnOverall, Elite Palace Hotel provides excellent service in a very convenient location, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.
Overall, the hotel is decent and the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and to be clear, the spa employees were polite and tried to help. However, there were three major issues that are simply not acceptable for a four-star hotel, and honestly make this place feel like it has very little to do with a real 4 star hotel.nn1 Cold rooms and no proper temperature controlnBoth of our rooms were uncomfortably cold, and it was not possible to properly adjust the temperature. This was not an isolated issue, it happened in two different rooms.nn2 Misleading “Spa” branding and outrageous extra charges.nThe biggest disappointment by far was the spa. On Google Maps and Booking.com, the first photos show a large spa area with pool and sauna, as well as a big gym. With a hotel literally named “Elite Palace Hotel & Spa”, I naturally expect spa access to be included or at least reasonably priced.nnInstead, access costs almost as much as the room per night. We were quoted around €90 per person for only 2.5 hours. We were three people, which would have been well over €250 for a short visit. Even with the so-called “discount for hotel guests”, the price was still around €80 per person, which is a negligible reduction and quite frankly ridiculous. On top of that, spa access must be booked in advance in fixed time slots, something that was not clearly communicated during the booking process.nn3 Basic room standards empty shower gelnI don’t want to be too fussy, but In my room, the shower gel was completely empty.nnTo summarize: good breakfast and very friendly staff, but cold rooms, misleading spa marketing with excessive extra charges, and poor attention to basic room details. Because of this experience, we will not be returning.
You have to pay 90 euro ! to go in the swimming pool! Our 11-year old daughter was not even allowed to go in, even if we would have considered paying. Combined with a cold room and very old fashioned rooms, and a far too crowdy breakfast place makes this hotel absolutely not worth the price! Pay 20 euro per night more for a decent hotel and avoid this one!
