We had a comfortable stay at Elite Palace.nnROOM:nOur room was large and even the toilet / shower was spacious. The room felt newly renovated and equipped with a flat screen TV with a variety of channels, a safe, a minibar, a writing desk and an armchair. The carpet was clean and soft to walk on.nnWe had a good night's sleep on the large double bed. The pillows were soft and the sheets clean and crisp. The air-conditioning worked well to cool the room in Summer.nnThere were some small inconveniences - duvet was too warm for Summer weather and not much of a view from the window but nothing jarring for a short stay.nnBREAKFAST:nLarge selection of food and lots of seating. The service staff are quick to clear the tables and top up the food. The quality of food is average but there is enough to satisfy. The pancakes with fresh cream and jam stands out amongst the selection.nnPARKING:nLots of inexpensive streetside parking in the area so really no need to use the hotel garage.nnSURROUNDING:nCalm area but in an Interesting neighborhood with lots of restaurants, a number of supermarkets and the metro all within a short stroll.
We had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. It is outside of the downtown area of Stockholm , but it is easy to get to the city either on foot or by public transport. The hotel is just right next to the amazing Haha park. In my experience both check-in and checkout were easy and quick. The rooms are quite spacious and very clean. The breakfast has a variety of options and offers delicious and healthy options.
We enjoyed a pleasant stay. The room was small but nice and clean. The people at the reception were very nice and the guy at the bar was helpful. The breakfast tasted very good, but the space for serving food was a bit cramped.
Great hotel, modern and good quality with friendly helpful staff. The hotel has a bar by the reception desks, as well as an English pub ‘the Bishop’s Arms’ adjoining. There is a very large restaurant that serves breakfasts - and the selection is very comprehensive. I also noted that there were a number of items for those with food allergies or dietary requirements, such as lactose free milk and lots of gluten free options. The hotel is large and can be very busy at breakfast time, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The hotel is a bit out of the centre but easily walkable to either a bus stop or the metro our preferred option in Odenplan. It’s also only about a 30 minute walk into the centre. The hotel was excellent value when compared to other hotels of similar standard and I would definitely stay there again.
Regret of booking. No 4 stars for this hotel for sure.nYou can’t open the window in the room, so it’s either cold with loud air conditioning, or no air at all.nMini bar refrigerator is old and also loud.nAt the breakfast you have only 1 coffee option, for cappuccino you need to pay extra.nBreakfast is disorganized in general, a lot of tables here and there with small variations of food in general.nAnd it’s definitely not hotel&spa it’s a hotel and a spa that cost the same and should be paid separately. It’s definitely not worth it to pay 50-80€ per person for 3 hours of pool and sauna that is visible from spa center reception so no privacy, lounge zone of spa is also at the reception.
